Abstract: A method for manufacturing a shaping structure having a generally helical profile and configured to support electrodes for delivering electric energy into a cylindrical lumen of a patient. The method comprises providing a mandrel with a circular cylindrical shape and forming a first hole in the mandrel along the elongate axis, such that opposing ends of a bore of the first hole emerge at the proximal end and at the distal end; forming a second hole in the mandrel to extend from the curved surface to connect with the first hole; wrapping a metal wire around the mandrel; and inserting opposing ends of the metal wire into the second and the third hole respectively, and threading the opposing ends of the metal wire until they emerge from the opposing ends of the bore of the first hole; finally, heating the mandrel and the wire.

  • Publication number: 20200030634
Abstract: A radiation therapy system is configured to enable imaging and treatment of a target volume during a single patient breath hold. The radiation system includes a rotating gantry on which are mounted a treatment-delivering X-ray source and multiple imaging X-ray sources and corresponding X-ray imaging devices. The multiple imaging X-ray sources and X-ray imaging devices enable the acquisition of volumetric image data for the target volume over a relatively short rotational arc, for example 30 degrees or less. Therefore, intra-fraction motion can be detected in near-real time, for example within about one second or less. The radiation therapy system can perform image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) that monitors intra-fraction motion using X-ray imaging. Detected anatomical variations can then either be compensated for, via patient repositioning and/or treatment modification, or the current treatment can be aborted.

  • Publication number: 20200032891
Abstract: In a strain wave gearing, a flexible externally toothed gear flexed by a wave generator meshes with a flexible internally toothed gear while in an overlapping meshing state. A floating ring, which supports the internally toothed gear from the outer circumferential side, maintains the overlapping state of the meshing and supports the internally toothed gear in a floating state that allows displacement following a state of radial flexion in the tooth trace direction of the internal teeth of the internally toothed gear. Differences between the meshing states of both gears can be alleviated at each position in the tooth trace direction. Degradation in the transmission characteristics and the strength characteristics of the strain wave gearing caused by manufacturing dimensional accuracy of each component and assembly accuracy can be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20200031391
Abstract: An oscillation limited driven steering track assembly includes a track mechanism coupled to and driven by a hydraulic motor. The motor is pivotally secured about a steering axis to a stub axle which partially supports a land vehicle. A longitudinally extensible and retractable apparatus extends between the track mechanism and the stub axle. One end of the apparatus is pivotally secured to a post secured to and extending from the track mechanism parallel with the motor shaft axis of rotation. A yoke is provided between the apparatus other end and pivotally secures the apparatus to the stub axle about the steering axis and, also, about a pivot axis perpendicular to the steering axis. Oscillation of the track mechanism about the motor shaft is limited by the apparatus. Simultaneously, the apparatus does not interfere with the track mechanism while the mechanism is rotated about the steering axis for steering the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10548250
Abstract: The outer layer is peeled exactly a predetermined length from the end portion of the electromagnetic shielding tube. That is, the metal layer is exposed exactly a predetermined range at the end portion of the electromagnetic shielding tube. A flexible conductor is connected to the exposed metal layer. A separated portion is provided in the inner layer. The separated portion is formed along the length direction of the electromagnetic shielding tube. Additionally, a depth of the separated portion is the same value as the thickness of the inner layer. As such, the inner surface of the metal layer is exposed at the separated portion. It is preferable that the separated portion be formed at a plurality of locations in the circumferential direction. The inner layer is divided into a plurality of sections in the circumferential direction by the separated portion.

  • Patent number: 10546053
Abstract: A technique for inserting form fields into forms displays a cursor superimposed over a background image of a form and dynamically generates candidate shapes of a form field to be inserted. New candidate shapes are generated automatically, based on pixel content of the form under a cursor, as a user moves the cursor over different regions of the form. In response to the user manually selecting one of the candidate shapes, the technique establishes the position, size, and shape of the form field based on the position, size, and shape of the selected candidate shape. The improved technique thus proceeds semi-automatically, generating candidate shapes automatically but based on manual, user-directed cursor positioning and manual selections.

  • Patent number: 10547678
Abstract: A stand-alone, network accessible data storage device, such as a filer or NAS device, is capable of transferring data objects based on portions of the data objects. The device transfers portions of files, folders, and other data objects from a data store within the device to external secondary storage based on certain criteria, such as time-based criteria, age-based criteria, and so on. A portion may be one or more blocks of a data object, or one or more chunks of a data object, or other segments that combine to form or store a data object. For example, the device identifies one or more blocks of a data object that satisfy a certain criteria, and migrates the identified blocks to external storage, thereby freeing up storage space within the device. The device may determine that a certain number of blocks of a file have not been modified or called by a file system in a certain time period, and migrate these blocks to secondary storage.
