  • Publication number: 20240303628
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic enrollment and identity verification based upon processing a captured image of a document are disclosed herein. Various embodiments enable, for example, a user to enroll in a particular service by taking a photograph of a particular document (e.g., his driver license) with a mobile device. One or more algorithms can then extract relevant data from the captured image. The extracted data (e.g., the person's name, gender, date of birth, height, weight, etc.) can then be used to automatically populate various fields of an enrollment application, thereby reducing the amount of information that the user has to manually input into his mobile device in order to complete the enrollment process. In some embodiments, a set of internal and/or external checks can be run against the data to ensure that the data is valid, has been read correctly, and is consistent with other data.

  • Publication number: 20240304006
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for image processing systems and methods for analyzing digital images of biological samples stained for the presence of protein and/or nucleic acid biomarkers and detecting and quantifying signals corresponding to one or more biomarkers. The present disclosure also provides systems and methods for the clinical interpretation of dual ISH slides where the cells to score are selected (e.g. by using one or more cell detection and identification algorithms. By detecting, identifying, and selecting cells for assessment, it is believed that subjectivity is reduced or eliminated. The systems and methods also allow for an increased number of cells to be considered for scoring as compared with manual dot counting methods, thereby increasing detection sensitivity, ultimately enabling improved patient care and treatment.

  • Publication number: 20240300201
Abstract: A normalizing system for use with a case former, the system's components function and use are provided. Components of the system include a frame that defines a blank magazine area and a case forming area. Case pickers within the blank magazine area are configured to engage and lift a top-most case blank from the magazine. The pickers transfer the blank to left and right clamp assemblies, which grasp respective edges of the blank and then advance the blank toward the case forming area along a linear pathway. Alignment sensors positioned across the pathway detect if the case blank is in alignment as determined by the value of the angle(s) that the leading edge of the blank forms where it intersects each of the alignment sensors. If misalignment is detected, servos which control the rate of advancement of the clamp assemblies, adjust that rate to bring the blank back into alignment.

  • Patent number: 12086245
Abstract: A processor for mitigating side channel attacks includes units that perform fetch, decode, and execution of instructions and pipeline control logic. The processor performs speculative and out-of-order execution of the instructions. The units detect and notify the control unit of events that cause a change from a first translation context (TC) to a second TC. In response, the pipeline control logic prevents speculative execution of instructions that are dependent in their execution on the change to the second TC until all instructions that are dependent on the first TC have completed execution, which may involve stalling their dispatch until all first-TC-dependent instructions have at least completed execution, or by tagging them and dispatching them to execution schedulers but preventing them from starting execution until all first-TC-dependent instructions have at least completed execution.

  • Patent number: 12088195
Abstract: A resonant converter has a primary resonant tank circuit and a secondary resonant tank circuit. An inverter circuit converts an input DC voltage received by the resonant converter at an input voltage node to a pulsating signal that is fed to the primary resonant tank circuit to generate a resonant tank current that flows through a primary winding of a transformer. The resonant tank current induces current in a secondary winding of the transformer. The induced current is rectified by a rectifier and the rectified signal is filtered to generate an output DC voltage at an output voltage node. The secondary resonant tank circuit is disposed between the secondary winding of the transformer and the output voltage node, and a tank node of the secondary resonant tank is connected to the primary resonant tank circuit through the inverter circuit.

  • Patent number: 12085490
Abstract: A method and system are described for processing tissues according to particular processing protocols that are established based on time-of-flight measurements as a processing fluid is diffused into a tissue sample. In one embodiment, measurement of the time it takes about 70% ethanol to diffuse into a tissue sample is used to predict the time it will take to diffuse other processing fluids into the same or similar tissue samples. Advantageously, the disclosed method and system can reduce overall processing times and help ensure that only samples that require similar processing conditions are batched together.
