  • Patent number: 12070612
Abstract: A magnetic field sensor is positioned in proximity to a charging coil in an implantable medical device (IMD). An external device for charging the IMD includes a primary coil and a magnet positioned in proximity to the primary coil. The magnetic field sensor in the IMD detects a static magnetic field of the magnet and provides measurements proportional to the static magnetic field along three axes. These measurements of the static magnetic field are used to determine whether the external device is aligned with the IMD for charging. These measurements of the static magnetic field may also be processed to determine a position of the charger device relative to the IMD in three dimensions. When misaligned, a direction may be generated for a user to reposition the charger device to improve alignment.

  • Patent number: 12072732
Abstract: A circuit and method are provided for setting a phase relationship between a first signal and a second signal having a known frequency relationship to a master signal but having an unknown phase relationship to each other. One or more phase signals is generated based on the master signal, the phase signals having different phases from each other. One of these phase signals is selected based on the phase of the first signal and a target phase delay between the first signal and second signal. The second signal is generated based on the phase and frequency of the selected phase signal.

  • Patent number: 12073220
Abstract: A microprocessor includes a load queue, a store queue, and a load/store unit that, during execution of a store instruction, records store information to a store queue entry. The store information comprises store address and store size information about store data to be stored by the store instruction. The load/store unit, during execution of a load instruction that is younger in program order than the store instruction, performs forwarding behavior with respect to forwarding or not forwarding the store data from the store instruction to the load instruction and records load information to a load queue entry, which comprises load address and load size information about load data to be loaded by the load instruction, and records the forwarding behavior in the load queue entry. The load/store unit, during commit of the store instruction, uses the recorded store information and the recorded load information and the recorded forwarding behavior to check correctness of the forwarding behavior.

  • Patent number: 12072748
Abstract: A processor IC has multiple power base units (PBUs), arranged in an array. Each PBU includes a switch, a memory unit and a compute unit. It further includes a power estimator for the switch, memory unit, and compute unit. The PBUs communicate with an array-level power accumulator via dedicated wiring. Communication via the dedicated wiring may use timestamps to ensure time-accurate aggregate estimates. The switch power estimator estimates dissipation based on port activity. The memory power estimator estimates dissipation based on read and write activity and bit toggling in the memory. The compute power estimator estimates power based on monitoring input data zero values, bit toggling, instruction type, and activity of reconfigurable processing units. The array-level power accumulator calculates the array-level nominal dynamic power estimate. A power clock management controller scales the dynamic power estimate for the actual clock frequency and measured supply voltage, and adds a static power estimate.

  • Patent number: 12071310
Abstract: A conveyor system includes a rail that supports multiple carts that move along a track of the conveyor system. A plurality of sensors is operably connected to the rail and configured to measure vibrations of the rail as the carts move along the track. One or more sensors are operably connected to the cart and configured to take measurements of the cart as the cart moves along the track. • Patent number: 12074854
Abstract: Decrypting synthetic transactions with beacon packets is provided. A probe receives, from a client device, a start beacon packet that identifies a test of a service provided by one or more servers. The probe establishes, responsive to receipt of the start beacon packet, a log for the test. The probe stores, in the log established responsive to the start beacon packet, data packets transmitted between the client device and the one or more servers subsequent to the start beacon packet and encrypted with a key using a security protocol. The probe receives, from the client device, key information used to decrypt the data packets of the test encrypted with the key using the security protocol. The probe provides at least one of the data packets for evaluation or decryption using the key information to determine a performance of the service.

  • Patent number: 12073198
Abstract: Computer-implemented techniques for preventing garbage object accumulation on minimal runtimes. The techniques include checking whether source code written in a source programming language that does not require the programmer to explicitly program when deallocation happens can run within a runtime that provides little or no support for implicit deallocation. At the same time, the techniques ensure that objects in minimal runtimes are deallocated in a timely manner. In one aspect, the techniques encompass generating a compile-time alert (e.g., an error or warning message) to a programmer of source code or halting compilation of the source code upon detecting a data type definition in the source code with the potential for reference cycles. With the techniques, the programmer is provided with an implicit deallocation experience while producing program fragments that interoperate with minimal runtimes that provide no or only minimal support for implicit deallocation (e.g., provide only reference counting).

  • Patent number: 12070642
Abstract: A first determination that a range of motion of a user of an exercise machine is between pre-determined motion thresholds is made. While the range of motion of the user is between the pre-determined motion thresholds, a velocity of the cable being below a pre-determined velocity threshold is determined. In response to determining that the velocity of the cable being below the pre-determined velocity threshold while the range of motion of the user is between the pre-determined motion thresholds, a second determination that the user should be spotted is made, Torque of a motor is reduced based at least in part on the second determination that the user should be spotted.

  • Patent number: 12075123
Abstract: A system is provided for concurrent presentation of non-programming media assets with programming media content at a client device. The client device receives a response for occurrence of an event opportunity point from the media presentation and distribution system based on a selection criteria for the event opportunity point. A display view of the client device is modified, and a non-programming media asset is presented from a second media stream for a defined duration and different version of the programming media content in first partition, concurrently with the programming media content over second partition. The different version of the programming media content corresponds to the programming media content encoded based on a region within the modified display view allocated to the first partition. The presentation is based on user preference for specific item in the programming media content and user selection of the non-programming media asset displayed in past engagement.
