Abstract: The disclosed enhancements optimize the use of the live browse cache and pseudo-disk storage areas, improving metadata handling so that it can be used more effectively to speed up live browse and file indexing of backup copies in a data storage management system. The enhancements operate granularly to identify within each extent being backed up smaller sectors that comprise metadata. The disclosed approach pre-fetches the metadata of the backup copy before allowing the file scan of the file indexing and/or the live browse operation to proceed. The backup operation, the file indexing operation, and the live browse operation are enhanced to handle the more granular metadata sectors without changing the granularity of the full extents generated and stored in the backup.

Abstract: A portable magnetic resonance imager has a probe. One or more magnets are disposed in the probe, creating at least one magnetic field to precess protons at a target. A magnetometer disposed in the probe has a light source and a nitrogen vacancy diamond. The light source projects a light on the nitrogen vacancy diamond. The nitrogen vacancy diamond fluoresces in response to the light. A photodetector detects the fluorescence and produces a signal in response thereto indicative of the decaying of precessing protons having precessed in the presence of the one or more magnets.
Abstract: Techniques for facilitating readout addressing verification systems and methods are provided. In one example, an imaging device includes a focal plane array (FPA). The FPA includes a detector array. The detector array includes detectors. Each detector is configured to detect electromagnetic radiation. The FPA further includes a readout circuit configured to perform a readout to obtain image data from each of the detectors. The imaging device further includes a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to apply, to the FPA, a plurality of control signals associated with a readout of a subset of the detectors. The processing circuit is further configured to generate a verification value based on the plurality of control signals. The processing circuit is further configured to perform a verification of the plurality of control signals based at least on the verification value. Related methods and systems are also provided.

The at least one node device is configured with an artificial intelligence algorithm. The detection engine and classification engine are trained to detect and classify signals from unmanned vehicles and their controllers based on processed data from the signal processing engine. The direction finding engine is operable to provide lines of bearing for detected unmanned vehicles.

Abstract: A computing system is disclosed, comprising a host computer and multiple CGRPs (coarse-grained reconfigurable architecture processors) connected to the host computer through external communication links. Each CGRP includes an internal network, external interface circuits, memory interface circuits, arrays of configurable units, hang detection circuits, force-quit controllers, and a network recovery circuit with control registers. The host computer is programmed to configure and execute applications across the arrays of configurable units in both CGRPs. In case of a hang detection in one CGRP, the network recovery circuit initiates a force quit process and notifies the host computer. Additionally, the network recovery circuit compares application IDs and halts execution in the other CGRP if necessary. This system provides efficient failure tolerance and recovery mechanisms for parallel processing applications.
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus are disclosed for automatic signal detection in an RF environment. An apparatus comprises at least one receiver and at least one processor coupled with at least one memory. The apparatus is at the edge of a communication network. The apparatus sweeps and learns the RF environment in a predetermined period based on statistical learning techniques, thereby creating learning data. The apparatus forms a knowledge map based on the learning data, scrubs a real-time spectral sweep against the knowledge map, and creates impressions on the RF environment based on a machine learning algorithm. The apparatus is operable to detect at least one signal in the RF environment.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for resetting configurable units in a reconfigurable processor with an array of configurable units and a force-quit controller on an integrated circuit substrate. The array includes multiple sub-arrays of configurable units. The method involves receiving a force-quit command at the force-quit controller and generating force-quit control signals to reset configurable units in a specific sub-array of the plurality of sub-arrays. The specific sub-array contains the force-quit controller. This method enhances the efficiency and reliability of reconfigurable processors by enabling targeted and controlled resets of configurable units within the reconfigurable processor architecture.
