  • Patent number: 7499812
Abstract: In the method for locating flaws on the surface of a three-dimensional object the flaws are detected and located using one or more optical image-taking device. When a picture is taken showing a flaw the location of the flaw on the object is determined with great accuracy from the design data for the object, the optical imaging properties of the optical image-taking device, and the positions of the optical image-taking device and the object. A marking system for marking the position of the flaws on the object, which are detected by the method, is also described, which includes plural marking heads and displacement devices for positioning and/or activating the marking heads independently of each other.

  • Patent number: 7484640
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for storing and providing stacked film pockets (10) filled with film-type or laminar materials (1). Said materials, e.g. lamellae (1), are individually packed in thin film pockets (10) which are embodied in the form of primary packaging. Said film pockets (10) are stacked in a form of so-called secondary packaging (30) in a gauged manner, the secondary packaging (30) being a lamella dispenser. Said dispenser is provided with a mechanism (61) by which means the individual film pockets (10) are directly released. During said process, the film pockets (10) are automatically opened and the individual lamellae (1) are administered for consumption. The present invention enables a device to be created for storing and providing stacked film-type or laminar materials (1), said device storing said stacked materials (1) from the first to the last withdrawal without any significant change in the aromatic properties of the materials.

  • Patent number: 7482933
Abstract: The invention relates to a resonant label (10) which is designed to be directly applied to a data carrier (20) that is provided with a metallization, such as a CD, DVD or an MO disc. To facilitate and/or improve the electromagnetic remote identification of said label using a frequency in the RF range, the label is equipped with an outer coil (12) that forms part of an electric resonant circuit and runs essentially around the outer edge of the data carrier (20). The resonant label (10) is preferably configured on a transparent substrate, so that it blends in with the data carrier (20) and permits an impression on the latter (20) to remain visible. The resonant label (10) can either be used as an entity in itself or in a particularly advantageous manner as a type of wave collector or booster for a smaller RFID label (30) that is located on the same data carrier. The label thus permits the remote identification of the RFID label (30), even if the data carrier (20) is completely metalized.

  • Publication number: 20090021014
Abstract: A wind energy installation includes a wind rotor, a double-fed asynchronous generator driven by the wind rotor, a converter provided with a first part on the generator side connected to a rotor and a second part on the network side connected to a stator of the generator, and a control device providing converter regulation. A mode selector can be switched between a normal operating mode and a reduced voltage operating mode, in which the excitation of the generator is reduced compared to the normal operating mode. The under-excitation produces an additional reactive current, thus reducing the rotor voltage. The rotor voltage can be limited even when the load is high and the network frequency or voltage is incorrect. The usable rotation speed range of the wind energy installation can be extended to provide a more powerful generator with a higher rating, without changing the converter.

  • Patent number: 7475845
Abstract: An axial bearing, for a spooling roller on a spooling machine, with a shaft fixed to a machine frame, or to a machine chassis, a fixed rear cover disc, a hub freely rotating about the shaft and a flange, arranged on the free front face of the shaft with a front cover disc. At least one stud chamfers in the radial direction, away from the shaft in the region of the flange, engaging in but without projecting beyond a guide slot of a bayonet sleeve, detachably connected to the flange. The open guide slot, on the front face, rises up to an arched peak, turns away from the front face of the bayonet sleeve at a separation and runs toward the front face with a blind terminus. A pressure spring, tensioned on the shaft, is arranged between a shaft mounting and the hub, which presses the roller core with the spooling roller, over the hub, in the axial direction on the flange and forms therewith a rapid closure with the centered spooling roller.

  • Publication number: 20080265577
Abstract: A method for regulating a wind energy installation including a rotor-driven generator, a converter connected to the generator, and a controller that regulates power emitted into an energy transmission system to within a limit value involves determining a maximum current value in a connection path, determining a current reserve value for power emitted into an energy transmission system, and determining a correction value for following a limit value of the emitted power from the maximum current value and the current reserve value. The wind energy installation and the method for its regulation also includes the use of a limitation device configured to set a phase angle between an emitted current and voltage of an electrical system in response to a selection signal in such a way that primarily active power or primarily reactive power is fed into the energy transmission system when the maximum current value is reached.

  • Patent number: 7434798
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for grouping a multitude of film-like or sheet-like materials, which are stacked in a magazine (20) and which consist of at least one material layer, using at least one suction apparatus (42), which suctions the film-like or sheet-like materials in a clocked matter while removing them from the magazine, whereby one film-like or sheet-like material at a time directly rests with a portion of its surface that forms a contact surface against the suction device. To this end, one portion of the magazine contents consists of gas-impermeable film-like or sheet-like materials whereas another portion contains film-like or sheet-like materials that are each provided with at least one gas-permeable zone. The invention develops a method for grouping film-like or sheet-like materials during which a number of film-like or sheet-like materials can be grouped without impairing the speed of subsequent processing.
