  • Patent number: 11582123
Abstract: A computer system receives a data stream with a plurality of packets. In response to receiving the data stream with the plurality of packets, the computer system distributes individual packets of the plurality of packets to the inputs of each of a plurality of processing nodes. Each respective processing node has a local queue storing a respective number of packets to be processed by the respective processing node. Distributing a respective packet of the plurality of packets to the inputs of each of the plurality of processing nodes includes delaying sending the respective packet to each of the plurality of processing nodes by a delay time that is a non-linear function of an average number of packets in the local queues of the respective processing nodes.

  • Patent number: 11576503
Abstract: A tiered display unit includes a frame assembly. The frame assembly includes a first side support structure having a plurality of support members that form at least one tier, a second side support structure having a plurality of support members that form at least one tier and a plurality of cross members that connect the first support structure to the second support structure. Select cross members of the plurality of cross members include a pair of elongated components that are spaced apart from each other and occupy an area that is the same as the non-selected cross members. The space between the pairs of elongated components of the select cross members are configured to receive hooks for mating display accessories to the frame assembly.

  • Patent number: 11580224
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes monitoring, by a power monitor on a computer device, for a peripheral device connection. The peripheral device connection connecting a peripheral device to an input/output port of the computer device. The input/output port is configured to provide power from a power supply of the computer device to the peripheral device. In response to the monitoring for the peripheral device connection identifying the peripheral device connection, the method includes determining, by the power monitor, a device type and a negotiated power of the peripheral device as connected. The power monitor determines whether the negotiated power of the peripheral device as connected matches expected power information. In response to determining the negotiated power of the peripheral device does not match the expected power information, the power monitor takes action on the computer device.

  • Patent number: 11580586
Abstract: Methods and systems for analyzing and evaluating item recommendations presented on a web site are disclosed. In one aspect, a user interface is generated for display on a website. Item recommendations personalized for an individual user are displayed within in item recommendation region of the website. Impression, clickstream, and sales data are received from user activity on the website. The impression, clickstream, and sales data are displayed on a dashboard of an administrator user interface. An administrator user can select visualizations to display on the dashboard using selectors for impressions, clicks, sales, users, and time. Two or more sets of data can be overlaid to illustrate relationships between user interactions with recommended items and actual sales of those items. The dashboard is dynamically updated in response to new data received from the website in real-time.

  • Patent number: 11572237
Abstract: Warehouse automation and methods of handling materials can be used to enhance the safety and efficiencies of warehouse operations. For example, automation systems and methods that make depalletization processes safer and more efficient are described. In some examples, a rotary lift table is used to automatically position a pallet load of boxes in an ergonomic position where a worker can readily transfer the boxes from the pallet to another location, such as a conveyor or another pallet. In some examples, a work cell for a worker includes two of the rotary lift tables that function in that manner.

  • Patent number: 11574353
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein are relevant to systems, methods, and other technology for determining furniture compatibility. For example, graph neural networks (GNNs) that leverage relational information between furniture items in a set may be used as models to predict a compatibility score indicative of visual compatibility of furniture items across the set. In one implementation, the GNN-based model can extend the concept of a siamese network to multiple inputs and branches and use a generalized contrastive loss function. In another implementation, the GNN-based model learns both an edge function and the function that generates the compatibility score. The predicted compatibility score can be used for a variety of purposes, including furniture item recommendations.

  • Patent number: 11552844
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a request to provision a set of storage volumes for a server cluster, wherein the request includes an identifier for the server cluster and generating a provisioning work ticket for each storage volume in the set of storage volumes, each provisioning work ticket including the identifier for the server cluster. The provisioning work tickets are provided to a message broker. Multiple volume provisioning instances are executed such that at least two of the volume provisioning instances operate in parallel with each other and such that each volume provisioning instance receives a respective provisioning work ticket from the message broker and attempts to provision a respective storage volume of the set of storage volumes for the server cluster in response to receiving the volume provisioning work ticket.

  • Publication number: 20230004929
Abstract: The systems and methods described herein relate to managing transportation of loads of items within a retail supply chain. A unified load tracking system aggregates information from multiple supply chain computing systems for presentation on a user interface accessible by multiple users. One user interface provide access to a multitude of information that is interconnected by a common, unique identifier for each movement of a load between an origin and destination. A load board is also provided which automates the spot market auction process and load tender process between carriers and a retail enterprise transportation management system.

  • Patent number: 11544658
Abstract: In some implementations, a method performed by data processing apparatuses includes receiving order data that represents a plurality of ordered items for delivery to a location; selecting a first policy from a store of first policies; transforming at least a portion of the order data into a plurality of item units, based on rules associated with the selected first policy; selecting a second policy from a store of second policies; for each item unit, based on rules associated with the selected second policy, modifying the item unit to include annotated information that corresponds to operations to be performed on the item unit; and generating instructions for grouping the plurality of item units for delivery to the location, based on the annotated information for the item units.

  • Patent number: 11537453
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing a circular queue, or ring buffer, are disclosed. One method includes storing data from a producer into the ring buffer, and receiving a data read request from a consumer from among a plurality of consumers subscribed to read data from the ring buffer. After obtaining data from a location in the ring buffer in response to the data read request, it is determined if the location has been overrun by the producer. If it is determined that the location has been overrun by the producer, the data is discarded by the consumer. Otherwise, the data is consumed. Depending on the outcome, a miss counter or a read counter may be incremented.

  • Patent number: 11532028
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a digital cart management system for use by customers within a retail location. In use, a customer shops within a retail location and adds items to a digital cart as the customer is adding the items to a physical cart, e.g., at least in part by voice input. When the customer is finished shopping, the customer can checkout via a digital process, thereby bypassing point of sale devices at the retail location.

  • Patent number: 11531838
Abstract: Systems and methods for automating image annotations are provided, such that a large-scale annotated image collection may be efficiently generated for use in machine learning applications. In some aspects, a mobile device may capture image frames, identifying items appearing in the image frames and detect objects in three-dimensional space across those image frames. Cropped images may be created as associated with each item, which may then be correlated to the detected objects. A unique identifier may then be captured that is associated with the detected object, and labels are automatically applied to the cropped images based on data associated with that unique identifier. In some contexts, images of products carried by a retailer may be captured, and item data may be associated with such images based on that retailer's item taxonomy, for later classification of other/future products.

  • Patent number: 11532035
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes providing a user interface that allows selection of a product attribute and in the alternative allows selection of a previously defined rule. When a product attribute is selected in the user interface, a rule under construction that describes what products are to appear on a retail webpage is altered based on the selected product attribute. When a previously-defined rule is selected in the user interface, the rule under construction is modified so that the rule under construction uses the selected rule.

  • Patent number: 11533323
Abstract: This document generally describes computer systems, processes, program products, and devices for the rapid and automated collection, storage, and analysis of network events to provide improved and enhanced security analysis. The system can include an extensible framework for pipelines to process, normalize, and decorate network events created in response to network activity, which can permit the system to readily scale up and down to ingest large volumes and variations in network activity. For example, pipeline can match data in the network events with stored Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and decorate the network events with the IoCs before the network events are stored and subsequently analyzed.
