Abstract: A store fulfillment manager (SFM) system provides fulfillment of orders from inventory in a retail store. An ingestion layer ingests orders published by an order management system (OMS.) The OMS publishes the orders to the SFM system. A fulfillment database is used, into which the ingestion layer publishes the orders to be fulfilled from the retail store, the fulfillment database being dynamically updated to include the current orders that are available for processing and fulfillment. An SFM application programming interface (API) is configured to interface with multiple different store-based fulfillment systems. An internal workflow processor is configured to monitor the status of order fulfillment by the SFM and to publish status information to the OMS.

Abstract: A method of ring spinning cotton polyester blended yarn. The method is robust and can be used to manufacture the yarn even from polyester fibers that are produced from recycled materials. A new ring spun cotton polyester yarn is also provided. The yarn has few defects and can be effectively dyed when woven into cloth.

Abstract: Methods and systems for rapid deployment of virtual computing resources are described. One method includes receiving a text file defining a collection of desired virtual computing resources, the text file including a plurality of text fields defining a project name, a virtual local area network (VLAN) and a plurality of virtual servers to be provisioned within the VLAN, an IP address to be assigned, a processing capability, and a definition of disks associated with the corresponding virtual server. The method also includes executing a scheduled job to deploy a plurality of virtual computing resources according to the text file. The scheduled job parses the text file, issues commands to a provisioning interface to provision virtual computing resources, and validates provisioning of the plurality of virtual computing resources based on status messages received from the provisioning interface indicating a result of provisioning in response to each command.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein relate to managing transportation of loads of items within a retail supply chain. A unified load tracking system aggregates information from multiple supply chain computing systems for presentation on a user interface accessible by multiple users. One user interface provide access to a multitude of information that is interconnected by a common, unique identifier for each movement of a load between an origin and destination. A load board is also provided which automates the spot market auction process and load tender process between carriers and a retail enterprise transportation management system.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving at a computer a request for a metric describing an execution of an application on the computer and sending from the computer a respective request for the metric to each of a plurality of computing machines. Responses are received at the computer from the plurality of computing machines and are used to send from the computer a response to the request for the metric that was received at the computer.

Abstract: A website vulnerability test is performed by automatically checking that a website has not been compromised by malicious third party scripts. A system can test a dynamic behavior of a website that indicates a functional user flow through the website. Instead of merely analyzing static code of a website, the system automatically tests the website in their runtime environments for the presence of malicious third party scripts.

Abstract: Robotic automation and methods described herein can be used to enhance the efficiencies of freight shipping processes. For example, this document describes the use of automated systems and methods for densely loading cargo into freight carriers (e.g., semi-trailers) in an efficient manner. Some such systems can include one or more movable robots that can travel along an open side or open top of a semi-trailer to autonomously load parcels into the trailer in a densely packed manner. The disclosed systems and methods allow for the reduction or elimination of manual labor for loading shipping trailers in a very dense manner.

Abstract: A retail store including a server having a processor and a memory; a communication network; and a database are disclosed. The server includes an electronic product recognizer that receives a video stream including a plurality of frames from a camera of an electronic mobile device. At least one of the plurality of frames is selected as a captured image. A plurality of products in the captured image is segmented into a plurality of segments. Image recognition is performed using each of the plurality of segments to identify the product in each of the plurality of segments. One or more recognized products identified in the image recognition are output. The one or more recognized products identified in the image recognition are configured to be sent to a user device communicable with the server via the communication network, the server configured to cause one or more stickers to be displayed on the user device.

Abstract: A warehouse coordination system provides data for a plan creation user interface for a warehouse process. The warehouse coordination system receives user input that indicates a sequence of tasks to be performed over a shift for the warehouse process, user input that indicates resources to be applied to the tasks, and a simulation command to perform a simulation of the tasks. In response to receiving the simulation command, the warehouse coordination system performs the simulation of the tasks according to the user input. The warehouse coordination system provides simulation output data based on the simulation of the tasks, and receives a confirmation command to confirm the simulation output data. In response to receiving the confirmation command, the warehouse coordination system stores the user input that indicates the sequence of tasks to be performed, the user input that indicates the resources to be applied to the tasks, and the simulation output.
