Abstract: A method and sensor for testing and evaluating a sports bra for a level of support provided by the sports bra includes selecting a sports bra and removably attaching one sensor to the wearer of the sports bra. The wearer of the sports bra completes an exercise regimen corresponding to a support level indicated for the sports bra and the vertical, lateral and backward/forward movement of a bust supported by or within the sports bra is measured with the single sensor. A largest change in movement in each of the vertical, lateral and backward/forward directions is calculated to determine the level of support actually provided by the sports bra for accurate labeling of the support level of the sports bra for accurately informing consumer purchasing.

Abstract: Warehouse automation and methods of automatically sorting and sequencing items can be implemented to streamline and expedite order fulfillment and store replenishment processes in a cost-effective manner. Some embodiments described herein include sorting items to a truck-level, inducting items for a first truck into a first portion of a mobile robot field, accumulating the items in the first portion of the mobile robot field until all the items for a first cart of the first truck are in the first portion, moving, by one or more mobile robots, all of the items for the first cart in a sequence that corresponds to a store aisle layout, loading the first cart in the sequence, and moving the loaded first cart into the first truck, which can be accomplished in a particular sequence with other carts for the first truck.
Abstract: A glove and garment system includes a garment having a first sleeve and a second sleeve, a first glove and a second glove. A first female buckle portion is mounted to the first glove, a first male buckle portion is mounted to the first sleeve, a second female buckle portion is mounted to the second sleeve and a second male buckle portion is mounted to the second glove. In a first configuration, the first male buckle portion is buckled to the first female buckle portion to fix the first glove to the first sleeve and the second male buckle portion is buckled to the second female buckle portion to fix the second glove to the second sleeve. In a second configuration, the first female buckle portion is buckled to the second male buckle portion to fix the first glove to the second glove.
Abstract: Systems and methods for prioritizing trailers can include receiving a list of trailers at a distribution center, determining, for each trailer, an aggregate inventory readiness date, and ranking, into a high priority list, one or more trailers of the trailers that contain high priority items. The method can also include ranking, into an inventory readiness date list, one or more trailers of the trailers that were not added to the high priority list based on the aggregate inventory readiness date of each trailer, selecting, from the inventory readiness date list, trailers having the same aggregate inventory readiness date, ranking those trailers into a store need list based on one or more of the trailers containing needed items. The method can also include generating a trailer unload prioritization list based on combining the high priority list, the inventory readiness date list, and the store need list, and outputting the list.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for optimizing markdown schedules for clearance items at physical retail stores. For example, price sensitivity of a current inventory item at a physical retail store may be modeled using techniques that account for differences in operating behavior and data availability at physical stores versus online channels for selling items. When the current item is placed on clearance at the physical retail store, a request for a markdown schedule, including goals for the clearance, may be received. The forecasted price sensitivity of the current item may be adjusted based on actual price sensitivity of one or more past clearance items (e.g., based on actual clearance sales data) determined to match the current item. An optimal markdown schedule for the item may then be determined based, at least in part, on the adjusted price sensitivity of the item and clearance goals.
Abstract: Methods and systems for identifying one or more products in an electronic image are disclosed. The computer-implemented method to electronically recognize a product in an electronic image captured via an electronic mobile device is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a server, a video stream from a camera of the electronic mobile device, the video stream including a plurality of frames. The server selects at least one of the plurality of frames from the video stream, the at least one of the plurality of frames from the video stream being selected is a captured image. The server segments a plurality of products in the captured image into a plurality of segments. The server performs an image recognition using each of the plurality of segments to identify the product in each of the plurality of segments. One or more recognized products identified in the image recognition is outputted by the server.

Abstract: A process for digitally developing a new fabric and for developing a new fabric based on a physical property of the fabric and rather than a fabric construction. The process comprises selecting a desired physical property of the new fabric and selecting a fabric type. The process also includes using a fabric construction calculator to develop fabric construction parameters for the fabric, wherein the fabric has the desired physical property selected. The desired physical property is a selected softness factor of the fabric.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a digital cart management system for use by customers within a retail location. In use, a customer shops within a retail location and adds items to a digital cart as the customer is adding the items to a physical cart, e.g., at least in part by voice input. When the customer is finished shopping, the customer can checkout via a digital process, thereby bypassing point of sale devices at the retail location.
