  • Patent number: 6375841
Abstract: A system for transporting wet chips to a centrifugal separator where the wet chips are separated into dry chips and fluid with the dry chips being transported to a dry chips site and the fluid recirculated or collected. Preferably, the centrifugal separator, when actuated, serves to generate a pneumatic flow of air through a wet chip conduit whereby the wet chips are pneumatically conveyed to the separator from a source of origin such as a tooling machine station where wet chips are generated. A parts separator may be located at either end of the wet chip conduit.

  • Patent number: 6365878
Abstract: There is provided an electric frying apparatus (10, 200) including a heating coil (32), an oil tank (14) for cooking food, and a housing (12), in which the heating coil (32) is in a heat-transferable relationship with the oil tank (14), and the apparatus (10, 200) is adapted to be in an operable state when at least part of the heating coil (32) is received within the housing (12). The electric frying apparatus (10, 200) also includes a frying basket (16) for supporting the food for frying within the oil tank (14), in which the basket (16) is releasably engageable with the housing (12), and the basket (16) includes a protruding part (82) for securing the basket (16) against movement relative to the housing (12). The electric frying apparatus (200) also includes a temperature sensor connected with a liquid crystal display (LCD) 202. The temperature sensor senses the temperature within the oil tank (14) and such a temperature is visually displayed by the LCD (202).

  • Patent number: 6334707
Abstract: A temperature sensing device for test cylinder is provided. The device includes a heat-transfer member that is covered with a top cover and is then set along with the top cover in a holding case to form a temperature sensing unit of the device. The heat-transfer member is provided at an upper side at a position best for correctly sensing temperature with an upper recess for receiving a sensing element therein, and at a lower side with channels for receiving conductors of a cable externally connected to and extended into the holding case. The upper recess of the heat-transfer member is filled with resin to enclose the sensing element therein and adhesively connect to a bottom surface of the top cover. The temperature-sensing unit has a concave top corresponding to a test cylinder to enable close and fit contact of the test cylinder with the top cover. The entire temperature sensing unit and the test cylinder are hold together by positioning them into a fixing unit of the device.

  • Patent number: 6308146
Abstract: The system for simulating user input to control the operation of an application includes a processor and software operable on the processor to enable the selection of application specification information and execution input information. The selected application specification information is indicative of execution parameter information to facilitate the identification of application parameter information. The selected application specification information and execution input information is maintained on a storage device, and is indicative of a desired operation of the application. In order to simulate user input, the software provides the execution input information to the application parameter information when the execution parameter information corresponds substantially to the application parameter information to achieve the desired application operation.
