Abstract: A receiving and transmitting device for wireless transceivers is revealed. The device has been developed from a high isolation MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) antenna used for 2.45 GHz WLAN operation. The antenna is a dual-fed coupled monopole MIMO antenna that includes a dielectric substrate and a MIMO antenna. A grounding portion with two signal ends for feeding signals is disposed on the dielectric substrate. A T-shaped metal plate is extended from the grounding portion and located between two signal ends. A C-shaped parasitic element is arranged at the metal plate and there is a certain distance therebetween so as to adjust the isolation. The antenna is symmetrical for improving isolation and is suitable for USB dongles or small-sized wireless mobile devices.

Abstract: A lower body reciprocating exerciser includes a frame having two posts on two sides thereof. Two swing units are respectively connected to the two posts and an arm of each swing unit is connected with a cam of a transmission unit corresponding thereto. The cam is connected with a piston rod of a resistance unit corresponding thereto and the piston rod is connected with a piston located in a cylinder. An enclosed loop pipe is connected to outside of each of the cylinders and includes two sets of a check valve and an adjustable control valve. The loop pipe communicates with the space in the cylinder. The check valves and the adjustable control valves control the fluid in the cylinders to adjust the resistance force when the user swings the pedals and the arms, so that the user's bones and muscles of the lower body are exercised properly.

Abstract: Compounds that exhibit aggregation induced emission (AIE), and more particularly to water-soluble conjugated polyene compounds that exhibit aggregation induced emission. The conjugated polyene compounds can be used as bioprobes for DNA detection, G-quadruplex identification, and potassium-ion sensing. The polyenes also can be utilized as an external fluorescent marker to study conformational structures, to monitor folding processes of label-free oligonucleotides with G-rich strand sequences, and to visualize DNA bands in PAGE assay. The polyenes have applications in high-throughput anticancer drug screening and are useful for the development of efficient anti-cancer drugs. Furthermore, the present subject matter can also be used to monitor fibrillation of amyloid proteins and to facilitate the storage and delivery thereof.

Abstract: An apparatus for reducing laser speckle cooperates with a laser light source and comprises a light guide tube and a vibration element coupled on the light guide tube. The light guide tube includes an input member corresponding to the laser light source, an output member far away from the laser light source, and a chamber allowing a laser beam which is emitted by the laser light source to perform total reflection inside. The vibration element is arranged at a region between the input member and the output member to drive the light guide tube to vibrate reciprocally along a direction not parallel to the axis of the light guide tube. The vibration element controls the light guide tube to perform swift, reciprocal and high-frequency vibration to destroy coherence of the laser beam. Thus the laser beam can be output uniformly to avoid laser speckles caused by light interference.

Abstract: A fault bits scrambling memory and method thereof relate to a memory including at least one memory bank. The memory bank includes a memory module, a scrambling-logic unit, a self-testing unit and a scrambling code generating unit. The memory module includes a plurality of pages. Each page has a plurality of memory cells, and each memory cell has a physical address. The scrambling logic unit receives a scrambling code and the physical address to generate a mapping address by logical calculation, and outputs the mapping address to the memory module. Abstract: A network multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless signal transmission and power control system includes a plurality of adjacently arranged cells. Each cell is a regular polygon and includes a plurality of adjoining sides, a base station located at a center of the cell, a plurality of directional antennas equipped at the base station, and a power adjustment unit electrically connected to the directional antennas. The directional antennas point towards connection points of the adjoining sides, and sectorize the cell into a plurality of kite-shaped sections by regarding the directional antennas as centers. The power adjustment unit controls power output of the directional antennas. By changing pointing directions of the directional antennas, the cell can be sectorized into the kite-shaped sections to significantly increase system capacity and communication quality.

Abstract: A solar cell with an anti-reflection structure comprises a solar cell substrate, a meshed electric-conduction layer formed on one surface of the solar cell substrate, a plurality of microspheres disposed on the meshed electric-conduction layer, and a dielectric layer. The microspheres have a diameter of 0.1-50 ?m. The dielectric layer is formed between the meshed electric-conduction layer and the microspheres, and has a thickness smaller than the diameter of the microspheres to make the microspheres protrude from the dielectric layer. The meshed electric-conduction layer is formed via a screen-printing method. The present invention uses the microspheres and the meshed electric-conduction layer to achieve an excellent anti-reflection effect. Further, the present invention has the advantages of a simple fabrication process and a low fabrication cost.
