Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to enable, even in an endoscopic operation, an operation upon a specific operation site while monitoring the overall surgical site, such as an organ. An artificial magnetic field is generated such that a surgical site of a patient is positioned within a generated three-dimensional artificial magnetic field space. A plurality of magnetic sensors are respectively mounted in a plurality of predetermined locations of the surgical site of the patient. Data of a 3-D image of the surgical site and position information of the mounting locations of the magnetic sensors with respect to the surgical site are stored in a storage unit as position information of the mounting locations with respect to the 3-D image of the surgical site.

Abstract: A swallowing action measurement device includes a holder, a sound detector and a posture detector. The holder is fitted to a neck region of a person being measured from behind. The sound detector is held in the holder in contact with the outer side surface of the neck region close to the epiglottis, and detects sound associated with at least a swallowing action of the person being measured and outputs a measured sound signal. The posture detector detects a posture of the person being measured.
Abstract: Provided is a gel material for ophthalmic treatment useful as a synthetic vitreous body which is a novel intraocular tamponade material having a low swelling pressure, an appropriate elastic force, and no toxicity to ocular tissues, specifically, to retinas, and which is capable of stably maintaining a long-term stable tamponade effect. A gel material for ophthalmic treatment including a hydrogel in which a gel precursor cluster crosslinks to form a three-dimensional network. The gel precursor cluster has a structure with crosslinked monomer units or crosslinked polymer units present at concentrations less than a critical gelation concentration, and the gel precursor cluster has a relationship of G?<G? where G? represents a storage elastic modulus and G? represents a loss elastic modulus. The hydrogel has a polymer content of 50 g/L or less, a storage elastic modulus G? of 1 to 10,000 Pa at a frequency of 1 Hz, and a fractal dimension of 1.5 to 2.5.
