Abstract: An IoT system includes a computing module for controlling an integral function of the system and including an analysis unit and a machine learning unit. The analysis unit is capable of operational analysis and creating a predictive model and creating a predictive model according to the data analyzed. The machine learning unit has an algorithm function to create a corresponding learning model. An IoT module is electrically connected to the computing module to serve as an intermediate role. At least one detection unit is electrically connected to the IoT module and disposed in soil to detect data of environmental and soil conditions and sends the data detected to the computing module for subsequent analysis.

Abstract: A hemiplegic forearm function recovery training device includes a forearm mounting part (2) on which a forearm (S) is to be mounted. The forearm mounting part (2) includes a mounting body (20), an inner frame portion (2B), an outer frame portion (2A), and a control part. Abstract: A system and method for beam management in a wireless network are provided. A learning module having a trained classification module processes received I/Q input samples to determine transmitted beam information of incoming RF transmissions. The learning module includes a beam inference engine to determine waveform characteristics of incoming RF transmissions, and an angle of arrival engine operative to determine an angle of arrival of the incoming RF transmissions on an antenna array. An incoming RF transmission and angle of arrival are selected based on the determined waveforms for beam management operations.

Abstract: A nickel-iron alloy hydrogenation catalyst and a fabricating method thereof are provided. The nickel-iron alloy hydrogenation catalyst has 65 to 95 atomic percent nickel; and 5 to 35 atomic percent of iron, wherein the nickel-iron alloy hydrogenation catalyst is spherical and has an average particle diameter of 180 to 300 nm. The nickel-iron alloy hydrogenation catalyst is present in a non-carrier form. The nickel-iron alloy hydrogenation catalyst can generate a hydrogenation reaction at a low temperature (about 130˜140° C.) and has a high conversion rate (compared to pure nickel catalyst).

Abstract: A system and methodology for launching, flying and perching on a cylindrically curved surface in an environment without human intervention. The system and methodology include an environment awareness sensor device suite having a depth camera arranged to capture and output image data and 3D point cloud data of a field of view; an asset targeting unit arranged to set an asset as a destination location for a landing; a trajectory path determiner arranged to calculate a trajectory path to the destination location; a flight controller arranged to launch and fly the autonomous aerial vehicle to the destination location according to the trajectory path; a situational status determiner arranged to, in real-time, predict a location of an object with respect to the autonomous aerial vehicle based on 3D point cloud data for the object, determine the object is the asset based on a confidence score and autonomously land on the asset.

Abstract: Stromal Derived Factor-1 (SDF-1) is a small, naturally occurring, potent chemokine with inherent angiogenic, neurogenic, anti-apoptotic protein, which is also a potent stem cell chemoattractant, cardiovascular disease, and other metabolic disturbances. The present invention provides methods for treating erectile dysfunction in a male subject comprising administering to the major pelvic ganglion supplying the cavernous nerves subject compositions comprising SDF-1. SDF-1 promotes stem cell activation, to the major pelvic ganglion supplying the cavernous nerves, helps cell preservation, and prevents adverse penile remodeling. It can be administered as a protein or by gene therapy including but not limited to plasmid DNA, viral transduction, or nanoparticle delivery directly to the penis or to the neurovascular bundle or other pelvic nerve structures during the time of surgery, or before injury, or to treat existing erectile dysfunction.

Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) configured to land, take off, and magnetically perch on a ferromagnetic cylindrical surface is provided. The UAV includes a body and articulated magnetic legs configured to land and magnetically perch the UAV on the cylindrical surface. Each magnetic leg has a fixed portion coupled to the body and a pivoting portion pivotably coupled to the fixed portion at a pivot axis. The pivoting portion includes a switchable magnet and a single articulation joint that provides the pivoting portion with a single degree of freedom about the pivot axis to passively orient the pivoting portion inward and tangent to the cylindrical surface in response to the pivoting portion contacting the cylindrical surface during the landing, and to passively maintain the inward orientation of the pivoting portion during the takeoff.

Abstract: Microfluidic method and device that can be used for sensing and measurement of properties of liquids, gases, solutions, and particles is proposed, wherein the measurable liquid or gas (with or without particles) flow in at least one channel through a measurement chamber (cell) formed between at least two isolated electrodes is used for electrical impedance measurement. The proposed solution is characterized in that the cross-section of at least one pair of similar spatial electrodes decreases smoothly towards the tiny measurement chamber (cell) in order to increase the sensitivity and accuracy of the measurement. Typically, a device with multiple similar channels is advantageous to use for comparative measurement and differential measurement schemes.
