Abstract: Systems and methods presented herein include a venue system that includes a guest recognition system configured to recognize one or more guests in a venue, and a guest experience analysis system configured to receive data relating to the recognized one or more guests from the guest recognition system, to generate guest experience information relating to the recognized one or more guests based at least in part on the received data relating to the recognized one or more guests, and to transmit the guest experience information relating to the recognized one or more guests to an augmented reality display device for display on an augmented reality display of the augmented reality display device.

Abstract: A nanocomposite comprising a nanocarrier, a pharmaceutical compound disposed on a surface of the nanocarrier, and a biocompatible coating disposed on the pharmaceutical compound. The nanocarrier comprises nanotubes of a silicate or aluminosilicate material, preferably halloysite, and nanoparticles of a magnetic transition metal ferrite material of formula MFe2O4, where M is selected from the group consisting of zinc, nickel, copper, manganese, and cobalt, the nanoparticles being disposed on an interior and/or an exterior surface of the nanotubes. The pharmaceutical compound is disposed in the pores and/or on the surface of the nanocarrier by a solution phase impregnation process. Abstract: A bone tissue regeneration product, a method for preparing the bone tissue regeneration product and, and a method for repairing a bone defect. The new use of IGSF10 of the present disclosure can reduce the effective concentration of BMP without obvious adverse reactions, thereby exploring a method to promote bone tissue regeneration and providing new ideas for the treatment of bone defects. The present disclosure is capable of promoting non-bone related cells to produce bones; the method of the present disclosure is also capable of inhibiting the bone loss in inflammatory environments.

Abstract: A battery housing may include a primary vent channel, auxiliary vent channels, and receptacles for receiving cells. Abstract: A method and reactor for a hybrid thermo-electrochemical cycle using a layered reactive element is disclosed. The method includes heating the reactive element with a heat source, the reactive element having a metal oxide core that is redox-active, an outer layer, and an ion conductor layer between the core and the outer layer. The method includes increasing a chemical potential of oxygen in the core, driving O2? ions out as O2, the chemical potential increased through applying a first bias voltage between the core and the outer layer. The method includes exposing the reactive element to an input gas, and decreasing the chemical potential of oxygen in the core, driving oxygen from the input gas into the core leaving a gas product, the chemical potential decreased through applying a second bias voltage between the core and the outer layer. The first and second bias voltages have opposite polarity.

Additionally, multiplexing an electromagnetic trap beam may be used to shutter trapping electromagnetic radiation to protect a viewer, use the same beam for multiple functions, move and organize particles, and generate illumination effects.

Abstract: A displacement-sensing Doppler radar with ultra-low noise and high sensing resolution is provided. The radar includes N two frequency synthesizers to respectively generate, at different frequencies, a transmitted signal that is radiated toward a target object, and a local oscillator (LO) signal. The radar further includes a mixer and a rectifier to: (1) receive a returned signal from the target object carrying phase delays corresponding to detected displacements of the target object; (2) mix the returned signal and the LO signal to generate a down-converted sine-wave intermediate frequency (IF) signal; and (3) rectify the sine-wave IF signal to a square-wave IF signal, which also carries the displacement-induced phase delays. The radar also includes a phase demodulation module to convert the displacement-induced phase delays into a pulse-modulated signal. The radar further includes a low-pass filter to convert the modulated pulse signal into an output voltage signal indicative of the detected displacements.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating Alzheimer's disease, comprising a phospholipase C (PLC) activator as an active ingredient. A composition comprising the PLC activator of the present invention as an active ingredient restores the S-eCB mobilization suppressed by A?O, recovers the synaptic plasticity impaired by A?O, and not only recovers PLC?1 protein levels to normal levels in A?O-treated mouse hippocampal slices and 5XFAD mouse hippocampal slices in the chronic stage of AD, but also recovers contextual fear memory impairment in AD mice, and thus is expected to be usefully used for preventing or treating Alzheimer's disease.
