Abstract: A surgical instrument, and methods for its use, is described that includes clamp heads that can be nestled within or extended from a tubular sheath by longitudinal movement of the clamp heads' tines with respect to the tubular sheath. One of the tines includes an arch that slides against a mouth and inside wall of the tubular sheath, causing the clamp heads to open or close. The clamp heads close lightly, to within a predetermined (or zero) distance from one another, gently grasp an ultrathin polymer substrate seeded with cells, and pulls it within the sheath such that the substrate curls and folds to protect the cells.

Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of starch processing, and in particular relates to slowly digestible starch (SDS) and a preparation method and use thereof. The SDS includes a starch granule and a non-starch polysaccharide coating coated on a surface of the starch granule. In the present disclosure, the non-starch polysaccharide coating coated on the surface of the starch granule can prevent an amylase from contacting the starch granule, increasing contents of the SDS and resistant starch (RS) in the SDS. Therefore, the SDS can delay a digestion process, increase a digestion time of the starch, and reduce the increase of blood glucose and insulin levels after the starch is digested and absorbed.

The langasite group crystal A3BC3D2O14 mainly includes langanite (LGN) crystal, langatate (LGT) crystal and langasite (LGS) crystal. The solid solution crystals are formed by adjusting a component proportion of langasite group crystals with the same structure, so that different ions mix and occupy sites in a polyhedral group, and a polyhedral lattice structure, distortion degree, refractive index and refractive dispersion of the solid solution crystal are changed. The reduction of the phase matching angle and the improvement of the nonlinear optical coefficient are realized, and the effective nonlinear optical coefficient is finally optimized.
