Abstract: A method for treating hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) utilizes an RF ablation electrode needle system that has an RF ablation generator, and an electrode needle. The electrode needle is introduced to puncture within myocardium and to reach the hypertrophic area of the interventricular septum. The RF ablation generator is then turned on to implement single-point or multi-point ablation on the hypertrophic area of the interventricular septum, and then the RF electrode needle is withdrawn from the patient.

Abstract: A Smart Products Lifecycle Management (sPLM) system that is built upon the smart component data model and the NPD3 process model, is enabling engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to collaborate on a common platform to develop smart products. The sPLM system is validated by applying it to unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) development and operations, referred to as UsPLM. The UsPLM has shared lifecycle management functions that are provided as web services and can be applied to all digital models of UAS devices, software, autonomy functions, and missions. The individual models can be versioned, tracked, and be composed with other compatible models, if needed. The rule and scoring engines embedded in the UsPLM allow building and executing configuration rules, regulation rules, and various machine-learning models. This facilitates modular UAS architecture design so that the UAS has the flexibility to be reconfigured for various mission applications.
Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting and treating relapses for neurological conditions in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. One embodiment includes a method for predicting and treating a clinical neurological condition relapse. The method includes steps for selecting a threshold heart rate variability value for a patient suffering from a clinical neurological condition, monitoring, using a cardiac monitor, the heart rate variability of the patient over time, providing an indicator that a relapse is imminent when the heart rate variability of the patient falls below the threshold heart rate variability value, and treating the patient using a transcranial magnetic stimulation device by applying an accelerated theta burst stimulation protocol where the transcranial magnetic stimulation target is the left prefrontal dorsolateral cortex.
