Abstract: The present disclosure provides variant major histocompatibility complex class II (MHCII) beta chains, as well as heterodimers and multimers including MHCII alpha chains and the variant MHCII beta chains. Also provided by the present disclosure are nucleic acids, expression cassettes, and expression vectors encoding the MHCII beta chains. The heterodimers and multimers of the present disclosure have a higher affinity for CD4 co-receptors than comparable reagents including wild type MHCII beta chains, and therefore are advantageous for use in methods of phenotyping or activating CD4+ T cells.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a lining material of a nonmetal flexible composite pipe and a preparation method. The lining material consists of the following components in the following proportions: 89.5-99.4 wt % of a polymer matrix, 0.5-10 wt % of inorganic particles and 0.1-0.5 wt % of an antioxidant. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparation of raw materials: raw materials are weighed in a mass ratio for later use; (2) compounding and plasticizing: inorganic particles, a polymer matrix and an antioxidant are added into a twin-screw extruder or a mixer at an extruding or mixing temperature of 190-360° C., and extruded and cooled for later use; and (3) pelleting: the materials after the compounding and plasticizing obtained in the step (2) are pelleted in a pelletizer to obtain the lining material of a nonmetal flexible composite pipe.

Abstract: To reduce the effect(s) caused by patient breathing and movement during PET data acquisition, an unsupervised non-rigid image registration framework using deep learning is used to produce motion vectors for motion correction. In one embodiment, a differentiable spatial transformer layer is used to warp the moving image to the fixed image and use a stacked structure for deformation field refinement. Estimated deformation fields can be incorporated into an iterative image reconstruction process to perform motion compensated PET image reconstruction. The described method and system, using simulation and clinical data, provide reduced error compared to at least one iterative image registration process.

Abstract: This disclosure provides novel binary and ternary diagnostic tests with improved sensitivity and specificity for the presence of antigenic derivatives of lipo arabino mannan (LAM) present in biological fluids (e.g., sputum, serum, urine) of subjects infected with various mycobacterial pathogens, including M. tb and NTMs. The disclosed diagnostic tests detect and differentiate infection by Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) and nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTMs). The diagnostic tests detect different forms of LAM in the sample of patients, using capture antibodies that are either specific for TB, specific for NTMs or crossreactive with all forms of LAM, in conjunction with high-affinity species-specific or crossreactive detection antibodies.
