Abstract: Methods and systems for an integrated sensor network are described. In one embodiment, sensor data may be accessed from a plurality of motion sensors and a bed sensor deployed in a living unit for a first time period. An activity pattern for the first time period may be identified based on at least a portion of sensor data associated with the first time period. The activity pattern may represent a physical and cognitive health condition of a person residing in the living unit. Additional sensor data may be accessed from the motion sensors and the bed sensor deployed for a second time period. A determination of whether a deviation of the activity pattern of the first time period has occurred for the second time period may be performed. An alert may be generated based on a determination that the derivation has occurred. In some embodiments, user feedback is captured on the significance of the alerts, and the alert method is customized based on this feedback. Additional methods and systems are disclosed.

Abstract: An adaptive loading method for real-time hybrid simulation testing based on a space frame model. The system initial delay is controlled to be close to 0 before the loading of seismic wave by a dual compensation strategy for the initial delay based on the initial delay compensation and the adaptive loading segment, thereby solving the problem of insufficient estimation and compensation of the initial delay in the real-time hybrid simulation. In addition, the test substructure of the space frame model is equated as a test element, and the overall displacement response corresponding to the test substructure in the overall model is converted to the actual loading relative displacement of the test substructure by using the signal conversion module, thereby realizing the real-time loading of the large-scale spatial frame model with great rigidity.

Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-degree-of-freedom error measurement system for rotary axes and the method thereof. By producing a first ray, a second ray, and a third ray, the multi-facet reflector and the axicon disposed on an axis average line can receive the first, the second, and the third rays, respectively, for producing a reflective ray, a refractive ray, a first emitted ray, and a second emitted ray. Thereby, errors of the axicon in a plurality of degrees of freedom caused by shift or vibration of the axis average line, such as the x-axis radial error, the y-axis radial error, the axial error, the x-axis tilt error, the tilt error for the y-axis, and the angular alignment error for rotation can be measured.

Abstract: Methods and systems for capture of CO2 from a hydrated gaseous stream are described. Systems can be utilized for direct air capture of CO2 and incorporate a low energy temperature-vacuum swing adsorption (TVSA) process. A TVSA process can include a multi-step CO2 capture bed regeneration process that includes depressurization of the bed, heating of the bed, venting and purging of the bed, and cooling of the bed. Multiple beds can be cycled between CO2 capture and regeneration, during which captured CO2 is recovered. Off-gas from a CO2 capture bed can be used in regenerating a parallel bed for increased efficiency.
