    Abstract: A method for direct methane (CH4) oxidation (DMTM) to methanol (CH3OH) includes passing an oxygen-containing feed gas stream into a reactor containing a copper-loaded mordenite zeolite (Cu-MOR) catalyst particles such that the oxygen-containing feed gas stream is in contact with the Cu-MOR catalyst particles, at a temperature of 100 to 500° C., to form an oxidized Cu-MOR catalyst. The method further includes displacing oxygen in the reactor by nitrogen purging, and further passing a CH4-containing feed gas stream through the reactor in contact with the oxidized Cu-MOR catalyst at a temperature of 50 to 200° C., thereby converting at least a portion of the CH4 to CH3OH. The method further includes regenerating the Cu-MOR catalyst particles to form a regenerated Cu-MOR catalyst. The CH3OH is adsorbed on surfaces and pores of the regenerated Cu-MOR catalyst.

    Abstract: A method of making a composite, including mixing ZnO nanoparticles (NPs), Mg particles, and Zr particles under an inert atmosphere to form a powder mixture, compacting the powder mixture at a pressure of 500-600 MPa for at least 1 minute to form a compacted mixture, and sintering the compacted mixture at a temperature of 400-500° C. for at least 1 hour to form the composite. The composite includes 1-10 wt. % of the ZnO NPs and 0.1-5 wt. % of the Zr particles, based on a total weight of the composite, the Zr particles and the ZnO NPs are homogeneously dispersed in a matrix of the Mg particles in the composite, the Mg particles have an average grain size of 5-10 ?m in the composite, and the Zr particles and the ZnO NPs separately form aggregates at grain boundaries of the Mg particles in the composite.

The model includes a colon model and a polypus model detachably mounted on the colon model. The colon model is opened and provided with polypus replacing points for mounting the polypus model. The polypus replacing points are provided on different intestinal segments of the colon model. The polypus replacing points are provided at a plurality of different positions in a circumferential direction of the colon model. This application has the effect of simulating a variety of polypus lesion training scenarios, which contributes to the efficient conduct of colonoscopy training.

    Abstract: A cellulose-based all-solid-state polymer electrolyte separator, a preparation method thereof and an application thereof are provided. The cellulose separator is used as a skeleton, and solid-state polymer electrolyte is injected into pores of the separator using atomic layer deposition and dipping-coating processes. In addition, the polymer electrolyte remains in an amorphous structure at high temperatures by using an instantaneous quenching method, and ionic conductivity of the solid-state polymer electrolyte at room temperature is improved. After a surface of the solid-state polymer electrolyte separator is further coated with an alumina nanolayer, an electrochemical window width of the separator is significantly increased, and the solid-state polymer electrolyte separator is prevented from decomposing under a high voltage.

    Abstract: Provided is a method for constructing a gE gene-deleted pseudorabies virus (PRV) strain using an adenine base editor (ABE) and use thereof. The method includes: designing an sgRNA sequence using the ABE with a start codon of the gE gene in a PRV as a target site, ligating an enzyme-digested fragment to a double-stranded DNA fragment with sticky ends to obtain a ligation product; and transforming the ligation product into a competent cell to allow plate screening and culture, selecting a resulting positive bacterial strain to allow expanded culture, and extracting a plasmid from a resulting positive bacterial solution; and transferring the plasmid into a target cell to allow the transfection for 24 h, collecting a resulting virus liquid, and centrifuging the virus liquid to collect a resulting supernatant.

    Abstract: Systems, processes and devices are provided for wafer-level fabrication of a resonator. A process is provided that includes chemical etching of glass and silicon, high-temperature glassblowing, controlling assembly of at least one YIG sphere relative to a nest structure, and plasma assisted wafer bonding. The process can include formation of loop coils and spherical coils defined by the glassblowing process including inner and outer hemispherical structures. The inner hemispherical structure may provide loops to drive and detect resonance in YIG spheres. Processes discussed herein allow for placement of loops in close proximity (e.g., few microns) to ferrimagnetic elements. The outer hemisphere may provide harmonic magnetic coils for frequency tuning. Embodiments are also directed to a resonator including first and second wafer-level glass blown wafer stacks each with inner hemisphere and outer hemispheres.

    Abstract: A biomarker composition for predicting susceptibility to a therapeutic agent for neurofibromatosis by using Ras activity; and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating neurofibromatosis, including a Ras activity inhibitor. The biomarker composition can accurately diagnose susceptibility to a therapeutic agent for neurofibromatosis by measuring the expression levels of a GTP-bound and activated Ras (Ras-GTP) protein and an activated p-ERK protein or a gene encoding the same in a biological sample of an individual. The pharmaceutical composition inhibits the activity of Ras proteins, and thus can be effectively used for the prevention or treatment of neurofibromatosis in which the activity of the Ras proteins is increased.

The device can have a first inlet portion that receives a fluid that expands the first cavity causing the device to conform to an anatomical structure. The structure can be an atrium, such as the left atrium, of the heart of a patient. The device can conform to the walls of the tissue structure, and the conductive pad exposed via the opening can detect a signal from the wall of the tissue structure.
