Abstract: A metering delivery apparatus for injecting bone graft cement includes a body portion, a material containment vessel, an actuator, and a control unit. The body portion includes a drive housing that supports an actuator drivetrain and receiver end that supports the material containment vessel. The actuator has a first end connected to the actuator drivetrain and a second end that supports a moveable portion of the vessel to dispense material in the vessel and a retracting movement that relieves pressure applied to the material. The control unit receives actuator parameter inputs and includes a sensor to detect a signal of at least one of a pressure level and a time period. The sensor provides the detected signal to the control unit such that the control unit operates the actuator between the dispensing and retracting movements based on the detected signal and the actuator parameter inputs.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to widen a range in which line of sight change is possible, particularly in a pan direction. According to the present invention it is possible to acquire high line of sight changing speed. A pan mirror is capable of rotation in forward and reverse directions about a third rotational axis. Also, the third rotational axis extends in a direction that is substantially parallel to a line of sight direction directed from a tilt direction control section to the pan mirror. An angle ? formed by the pan mirror and the third rotational axis is set in a range 0°<?<90°. The tilt direction control section can scan line of sight direction with respect to a virtual plane formed by a rotation locus of the pan mirror. The tilt direction control section can also control tilt angle of the line of sight direction from the pan mirror to a physical object.
Abstract: A switched reluctance motor system includes a switched reluctance motor, a rotor including a plurality of salient poles, a stator including a plurality of salient poles, coils of three phases wound around the salient poles of the stator, and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to drive the switched reluctance motor in a pole configuration pattern of NSNSNS in which the salient poles of the stator that have different polarities are alternately arranged. The electronic control unit is configured to perform current waveform control when an excitation sound frequency of a given order coincides with a resonance frequency of the switched reluctance motor.
