Abstract: A solid-state fuel battery comprises an anode, a cathode spaced from the anode, and a solid-state electrolyte disposed between the anode and the cathode. A material of the solid-state electrolyte is a hydrogen-containing transition metal oxide having a structural formula of ABOxHy, wherein A is one or more of alkaline earth metal elements and rare-earth metal elements, B is one or more of transition metal elements, x is a numeric value in a range of 1 to 3, and y is a numeric value in a range of 0 to 2.5. A method for making the solid-state electrolyte for the solid-state fuel battery is further provided in the present disclosure.

Abstract: An anatomical structure is segmented from images generated in an anatomical scan. A user input device is configured for manually identifying two or more seed points on a plurality of the images. An image processor is configured to identify an optimal path through seed points on the plurality of images with a graph search. The optimal path between corresponding seed points on different images defines a boundary contour, and the anatomical structure includes two or more boundary contour. Abstract: The present invention provides a novel Pichia kluyveri strain (CCTCC NO: M 2015626) and the method of using this new strain to produce fermented nonalcoholic red bayberry juice. The method comprises incubating Pichia kluyveri CCTCC NO: M 2015626 with red bayberry juice in a fermentation process to make the fermented nonalcoholic juice, which includes an aerobic, anaerobic and a low temperature fermentation. The fermented bayberry juice of the present invention has bright color, low alcohol content (<0.5%) and high nutritional values. It maintains the characteristic fruity flavor of red bayberries with added mellow taste and aroma from the fermentation.

Abstract: The disclosure provides methods for characterizing a prostate cancer sample by detecting expression of ERG, PTEN or both, changes in which relative to a normal control are shown herein to be correlated with prostate cancer capsular penetration and more aggressive forms of prostate cancer. Abstract: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing an all-solid state battery. The method includes coating a first slurry or composition having on a substrate to form a first electrolyte layer a predetermined thickness, coating a second slurry or composition on the first electrolyte layer to form a second electrolyte layer having a predetermined thickness, laminating an electrode layer on the second electrolyte layer, bonding the electrode layer to the second electrolyte layer through pressing, and removing the substrate from the first electrolyte layer. The first slurry or composition of the first electrolyte layer has content of a binder less than that of the second slurry or composition of the second electrolyte layer, and thus, the substrate may be easily removed from the first electrolyte layer.

Abstract: The present invention provides an adaptive vibration isolator. The adaptive vibration isolator includes a hydraulic system, a first elastic member, a second elastic member, an upper top plate, and a vibration energy consumption device. The hydraulic system comprises a hydraulic cylinder, a piston and a piston rod, a first though hole is formed on the piston, and the first hydraulic chamber is communicated with the second hydraulic chamber via the first through hole. Abstract: The ultra-wideband unipole antenna is a variant on a monocone antenna, including a plurality of electrically conductive rods that act as a parallel inductive-capacitive (L-C) network for improving the impedance match between the radiating element of the antenna and the antenna's feed. An electrically conductive conical surface having a vertex end and a base end acts as the radiating element. The vertex end is positioned adjacent to, and spaced apart from, a ground plane plate. Each electrically conductive rod has opposed first and second ends, the first end being secured to the electrically conductive conical surface, and the second end being secured to the ground plane plate. A coaxial cable feed line has a center conductor and an outer conductor. The center conductor is in electrical communication with the vertex end of the electrically conductive conical surface, and the outer conductor is in electrical communication with the ground plane plate.
