Abstract: A system and method remotely allocate bandwidth among content consumers on a computing network based on optimizing an aggregate objective pertaining to a plurality of flows of content. The system and method create a profile for each flow of the plurality of flows from a content provider to a content consumer on the computing network. Information is stored in each profile based on at least a metric associated with the corresponding flow. A target bandwidth for each profile is computed remotely, based on optimizing an aggregate objective pertaining to the plurality of flows of content. The optimizing is also based on the information stored in their respective profiles. The system and method distribute the bandwidth to each flow of the plurality of flows based on the target bandwidth remotely computed for each profile.

Abstract: The method employs citric acid as the modifier, combines the citric acid with starch, achieves the good modification effect of starch at high temperature, and improves the digestion-resistant property of starch. Citric acid itself is nontoxic, the process conditions are mild and the treatment methods are relatively safe, which shows very high practical values. In the method, starch and citric acid are cross-linked by using the infrared treatment technology, and the dry heating treatment is used to promote the modifier citric acid into starch, thereby achieving significant and stable modification effects, and high modification efficiency.

Abstract: An optical fiber grating sensing method applied to small-scale fire source monitoring are provided, distinguishing two concepts of a spatial resolution and a perception resolution, under the premise of ensuring the spatial resolution of a traditional fiber Bragg grating sensing system, only increase the number of fiber Bragg gratings covered by a single pulsed optical signal without changing a pulse width of a pulsed optical signal, so as to improve the perception resolution of the system without increasing the requirements for a hardware circuit, and truly shorten an interval between adjacent fiber Bragg gratings. Improving the perception resolution of the system, which not only ensures the spatial resolution of the system, but also realizes the monitoring of small-scale fire sources; by adopting a simple feature extraction algorithm to obtain fire temperature information in different areas, the temperature detection speed of the system is fast.
