Abstract: A device encrypted authentication method based on a strong physical unclonable function is disclosed, including: generating ? matrixes formed by random transformation of a ??{square root over (b)}?-order unit matrix, such that unnecessary device expenditure is reduced; when a sensing device is identified, information to be synchronized between the sensing device and a back-end server is transmitted in the registration phase, such that an attacker cannot obtain confidential information in the encryption phase, and the attacker cannot traverse or completely crack all these possible combinations in a short time; even if the attacker intercepts some CRPs, it is scarcely possible that data sent by the sensing device matches the CRPs collected by the attacker, and with the increase of the number b of bits of challenges and the quick convergence to 0, the accuracy of random guessing is only 50%.

Abstract: Herein provided is a new potato variety designated ‘UNR-01’ as well as the tubers, seeds, plants, plant parts, and derivatives of the new potato variety ‘UNR-01’. This transgenic variety was generated using CRISPR-Cas9 and deleting a portion of the StMYB93 (PGSC0003DMG400006408) gene. This transgenic variety has a sprout suppressed phenotype that results in a longer storage life in cold storage conditions without the application of sprout-inhibiting chemicals. These potatoes were not impacted in reduced sugar levels, wound healing capacities, and native periderm suberin content. Also provided are tissue cultures of the new potato variety ‘UNR-01’ and the plants regenerated therefrom. Methods for producing potato plants by crossing the new potato variety ‘UNR-01’ with itself or another potato variety and plants produced by such methods are also provided. ‘UNR-01’ potatoes exhibit suppressed sprouting and longer storage life in cold storage conditions without the application of sprout-inhibiting chemicals.

  • Publication number: 20240427321
Abstract: A framework includes a system and associated computer-implemented methods for detecting behavioral changes in a dynamical system that can lead to unsafe conditions before an output of the dynamical system violates a safety threshold, especially for dynamical systems with unmodeled inputs and unmodeled dynamics. In particular, the framework aims to detect “unknown-unknown” errors that may be present in a post-deployment model of the dynamical system that may not be anticipated or modellable by its designers, and are often not directly observable through input-output traces. This is achieved by evaluating conformance of post-deployment model coefficients of the post-deployment model with respect to a set of pre-deployment (ideal) model coefficients. The framework can estimate a future time step where the output of the dynamical system is expected to violate a safety violation based on the post-deployment model.

Abstract: A sensor system for sensing EM radiation and a method for calibrating the system are provided. The system includes a sensing element that receives calibration signals or signal components with different frequencies. Recording device records responses of the sensing element to at least two calibration signals or signal components. A respective response to a calibration signal of the at least two calibration signals or signal components depends on an excitation of one or more of the resonances by the calibration signal. A part of the recorded responses to and/or information derived from at least a part of the recorded responses is stored in a model which correlates the responses to frequencies and/or signal levels of the corresponding calibration signals or signal components. Processor uses the model to convert a response of the sensing element to an EM signal to be analyzed into a frequency spectrum of the EM signal.
