Abstract: A quantum mechanical arithmetic operation method for machine vision, based on quantum dots is performed by a quantum processing processor. The quantum mechanical arithmetic operation method comprises, obtaining a first labeled graph connecting between feature points of the first image and a second labeled graph connecting feature points of the second image, generating a point-to-point combination by matching the feature points of the first image with the feature points the second image, generating a conflict graph by adding the largest point-to-point combination by comparing the point-to-point combinations with the threshold, generating non-constrained binary optimization equation for finding a maximum independent set of conflict graphs, converting the non-constrained binary optimization equation into Ising model of the quantum system, and calculating the Hamiltonian of Ising model based on the quantum dots to obtain solution of the non-constrained binary optimization equation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a new interferometric module which may be implemented as holographic/interferometric portable optical setups that are based on the interferometry with multiple wavelengths acquired simultaneously, without changing the imaging parameters, such as the magnification and the resolution, and recording the quantitative complex wave front (i.e. amplitude and phase) imaging in several wavelengths simultaneously. This may be used for multiple-wavelength phase unwrapping, for recording higher or optically thicker samples or for spectroscopic holography, without loss of camera frame rate due to wavelength scanning.
Abstract: The steel panel with an integrated corrosion sensor is a steel panel having an integrated sensor for monitoring dissolution of a magnetite layer during acid cleaning of the steel panel. The steel panel has an opening formed therethrough, and a hollow insulator is secured to the steel panel within the opening. The hollow insulator is formed from an electrical insulation material and electrically isolates the steel panel from a steel core, which is mounted within the hollow insulator. A reference electrode is positioned near the steel panel. A voltmeter is electrically connected between the reference electrode and a first surface of the steel core. An opposed second surface of the steel core has a layer of magnetite formed thereon. An alarm is in electrical communication with the voltmeter, such that the alarm generates an alarm signal when the voltmeter detects a corrosion potential at a preset threshold potential.

Abstract: An embodiment includes a process for treating an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) endoleak with a shape memory polymer (SMP) foam device. First, a bifurcated stent graft is placed within the aneurysm while a micro guidewire is positioned within the aneurysm for future catheter access. Second, after placing the iliac graft extension, a catheter is introduced over wire to deliver embolic foams. Third, embolic foams expand and conform to the aneurysm wall. Fourth, embolic foams create a stable thrombus to prevent endoleak formation by isolating peripheral vessels from the aneurysm volume.

Abstract: A method for evaluating a uniformity of a magnetic field generated by a magnetic coil is disclosed. Abstract: The subject disclosure presents systems and computer-implemented methods for assessing a risk of cancer recurrence in a patient based on a holistic integration of large amounts of prognostic information for said patient into a single comparative prognostic dataset. A risk classification system may be trained using the large amounts of information from a cohort of training slides from several patients, along with survival data for said patients. For example, a machine-learning-based binary classifier in the risk classification system may be trained using a set of granular image features computed from a plurality of slides corresponding to several cancer patients whose survival information is known and input into the system. The trained classifier may be used to classify image features from one or more test patients into a low-risk or high-risk group.
