Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a reception unit, a generating unit, and a presenting unit. The reception unit acquires identification information used for identifying a user and receives a request for executing a job with respect to an apparatus to be used. The generating unit executes the job by using a function included in the apparatus and generates history information using the identification information and an execution result of the job. The presenting unit entirely or partially conceals the history information in accordance with authorization of a viewer and presents the concealed history information.
Abstract: A print system and a method for curing marking material on an object using an active LED array in a three dimensional (3D) object printer are disclosed. For example, the print system includes a plurality of printheads, a curing light source comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes (LED) that are independently addressable, a movable member to hold an object, and a controller to control movement of the movable member to move the object past the array of printheads, to operate the plurality of printheads to eject the marking material onto the object as the object passes the two-dimensional array of printheads, to control movement of the movable member and to operate each one of the plurality of LEDs of the curing light source to apply energy in accordance with a shape of the object to cure the marking material.

The image forming unit forms an image on a medium in accordance with an execution instruction received from an external apparatus via the first communication interface or the second communication interface. The managing unit handles one process performed by the image forming unit separately from the image forming unit.
Abstract: The nozzles of a MHD liquid metal ejector/printhead can be clogged by contaminants in the liquid metal. Typically, these contaminants are in the form of small particles of aggregates of particles, such as metal oxides, that are insoluble in the liquid metal. Possible cleaning methods include mechanically removing the clogging material, such as by using a physical device to dislodge the clogging material and remove it; chemically removing the clogging material, such as by using selected chemicals/flux to chemically react with the clogging material; using ultrasound to break/remove the clogging material; and providing reversed and/or oscillating flow of material through the nozzle.

Abstract: A cap is positioned to contact a printhead when the printhead is not ejecting liquid ink. The cap and the printhead create a sealed space adjacent printhead nozzles when contacting each other. An evaporator is connected to the cap and is adapted to control evaporation a water-incompatible or solvent-incompatible liquid into the sealed space to condense an ink-blocking film on the surface of the liquid ink in the nozzles to protect the liquid ink in the nozzles. This prevents the ink in the nozzles from drying and prevents the nozzles from clogging.
