Abstract: A system and method for providing self-installing software components for network service execution is presented. A basic communication framework is established with a service host system executing a network service software component to provide a network service. Availability of the network service software component is determined and prerequisites against a runtime environment are verified through the service host system. A code bundle providing the network service software component through the service host system logically grouped with installation instructions for the network service software component is executed.

Abstract: A recording paper used for an electrophotographic system is provided, wherein, in a gas chromatograph generated using a headspace method by holding two pieces of the paper of dimensions about 1 cm×about 1 cm at about 120° C. for about 3 minutes, the quantity of aldehyde compounds generated having a straight-chain alkyl chain of about 5 to about 20 carbon atoms is equivalent to a peak surface area ratio of no more than about 65% and a peak surface area of no more than about 40,000.
Abstract: Methods and systems for identifying device models or accounts exhibiting outlying behavior are disclosed. For a method of identifying a device model exhibiting outlying behavior, a processor may receive a color impression count, a monochrome impression count and either a device model for each of a plurality of devices. A proportion of color revenue may be determined for each device based on the color impression count and the monochrome impression count. The processor may determine, for each device model, a distribution of the proportion of color revenue for the one or more devices having the device model and may automatically identify one or more distributions of the proportion of color revenue exhibiting outlying behavior. Each distribution is associated with a device model.

Abstract: Systems and methods recommend documents or directories in an enterprise context by analyzing use proximity in the organizational hierarchy to find similar users. Evidence may be used from different sources to gage the degree of interest a user may have in a document. Such pieces of evidence may include viewing page thumbnails, viewing the document online, or printing, saving, or bookmarking the document. To make managing these different sources of evidence from users related by different degrees tractable, a model may be created where evidence values decay by different amounts over time and are combined with different weights. Additionally, these systems and methods also can make use of the directory structure of the document space to recommend directories as well as individual documents.

The computer-readable storage medium may include one or more programming instructions for identifying a demand distribution for a print product resource consumable, identifying a first seasonal period in the demand distribution, creating a seasonally adjusted demand distribution, identifying a second seasonal period in the seasonally adjusted demand distribution, creating an updated seasonally adjusted demand distribution, using a forecasting model to automatically forecast a predicted future demand value for the consumable, updating the predicted future demand value using, determining whether additional inventory is needed based on at least the updated predicted future demand value, and in response to a need for additional inventory, generating an order for the print product resource consumable.
Abstract: A system renders print jobs via a marking engine. A raster image processor receives the job from the input module and renders it to one or more raster images. One or more contone image processors receive the one or more raster images to perform cross-channel image processing to render the raster images into a form compatible with the marking engine, wherein the output is partially sub-partitioned by color separation. An image refactoring and distribution network completes the sub-partitioning by separation of the rendered contone raster images by color separation and distributes each color sub-partition to a marker channel module specific to each color sub-partition. A marking engine receives the color sub-partitioned image data, marks the image onto a substrate and outputs a hardcopy of the image.
