Abstract: The invention provides a gaming machine comprising a display for displaying a game in which game symbols are randomly displayed in an array of game positions. A game controller designates at least one of the game positions as a special game position in the array and randomly determines a bonus prize associated with the special game position. A special symbol appearing in the special game position in the play causes the game controller to award the bonus prize associated with the special game position. A method is also provided.

Abstract: A program which is capable of offering a reward to a user who has registered a simple access means to a predetermined screen is disclosed. The program causes a computer to function as reception means for receiving an access request from a terminal device used by a user; determination means for determining, based on a character string contained in a URL of an access destination of the received access request, whether or not a simple access means to the URL is registered in the terminal device; and offering means for offering a reward to the user who uses the terminal device that performs the access request when the simple access means is determined to be registered.

Abstract: A gaming and/or entertainment device, in the form of a coin or token-operated slot machine and/or gambling device, having a plurality of separate display units for displaying game information. At least one of the display units is provided with a touch panel for inputting control commands by touch. The touch panel is of continuous design over, in each case, at least part of at least two different display units, at least one display unit of which has a concave display surface. As a result of the touch panel extending over the boundary region or the intermediate space between two display units, it is possible, despite the use of a plurality of display units, to obtain a continuously closed-off device front. The design of the corresponding device wall is simplified and the protection against penetration into the housing at gap areas is increased.

Abstract: To provide a gaming machine that can provide a new type of game that maintains or improves the interest of a player, and a method and program for providing a game. In the gaming machine 1, by removing symbols of a particular type and moving a following symbol, the ratio of symbols of types other than the particular type becomes higher in the symbol array formed on the display unit 27, and it is easier for the symbol array to configure a winning combination. Because the chance of winning is higher after the particular type of symbol is removed in this manner, it is possible to provide a new type of game where the interest of the player can be maintained or improved after the symbols are removed.

Abstract: The gaming system and method disclosed herein provides that the probability that a group bonus event will be triggered for a plurality of gaming devices in the gaming system is independent of the number of players that are currently playing such gaming devices. The gaming system and method disclosed herein further provides that different players that are wagering different amounts at different rates are provided different quantities of evaluation points such that if a group bonus event is triggered, different players are provided different group bonus event awards proportional to each individual player's wagering activity.

Abstract: A method, system, computer readable media and cloud systems are provided for generating views of a virtual reality environment for a spectator. One example method includes enabling a spectator to view into a virtual reality environment, and control what specific content within the environment the spectator wishes to see. By allowing the spectator to move closer or further away from specific content, the spectators movement toward or away will cause an automatic scaling of content within the virtual-reality content being generated by an HMD player, that is sharing the content with the spectator. Other features include allowing a spectator to adjust the viewing angle of the content. The viewing angle of the content can be moved by allowing the spectator to reach into the content or control the content scene, and then position the content in the viewing angle that is most comfortable to the position of the spectator.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for porting locally processed media data with low latency to a remote client device via various wireless links are provided. In one example embodiment, a transceiver module may include a local network interface and a controller that may receive a client control signal from a client device over a wireless local area network via the local network interface, transmit a media control signal based on the client control signal to a media device, receive media data based on the media control signal from the media device, and transmit to the client device over the wireless local area network via the local network interface client data based on the media data and a low-latency compression technique. The receipt of the media data and transmission of the client data may be accomplished with substantially no detectable latency. Additional embodiments are also provided.

Abstract: Story panels are generated. A story panel forms a portion of a computer game that includes multimedia content corresponding to a dramatic story and one or more game challenges. The story panels are combined into one or more episodes of the dramatic story, wherein a transition from a first story panel to a second story panel is effected conditioned on fulfilling requirements of a game challenge included in the first story panel. Input options are included in each story panel that enable a user to interact with the story panel when playing the computer game. The execution of event runs through the limited-time event in response to user commands received from a client computing platform associated with the user may deplete the virtual resource in an inventory of the user. The system and method may maintain inventories of the users and recharge the virtual resource as a function of time. The system and method may include effectuating exchanges by the users of virtual items for the first virtual resource.

Abstract: A volumetric dynamic virtual camera system employs a radial basis function (RBF) component that can utilize non-uniform training datasets that are blended to provide interpolated camera parameters during application runtime based on a player's position within virtual volumes in a 3D space. During application development, an artist or developer can interactively author cameras that are finely tuned to appear just right and which provide the training data for runtime. The RBF component blends the training data during runtime as the player's position within the volume changes to produce camera parameters that the camera system uses to capture scenes for rendering on a display device. The result is an overall camera system that lets authors very quickly develop film-quality cameras that appear and behave more like fully dynamic cameras having significant intelligence. The cameras are volumetric because they can exist in all the virtual spaces exposed by the application.

The game player executes a game client that establishes a connection with the game system for transmitting the controller input information to the network interface.
