Abstract: An information processing method includes determining an image display orientation of a first image collected by a first electronic apparatus, determining an image display orientation of a second image received by the first electronic apparatus, and adjusting the image display orientation of the second image to be consistent with the image display orientation of the first image displayed on the first electronic apparatus. The second image is collected by a second electronic apparatus.
Abstract: A system and method for testing of automated contact center customer response systems using a customer response testing system and a real time conversation engine, wherein the customer response testing system generates simulated human queries using persona profiles, sends test cases containing those queries to a contact center under test, and receives and analyzes the responses to determine whether the contact center's automated response systems understand the queries and respond appropriately.
Abstract: A processing system having at least one processor may establish a communication session between a first communication system of a first user and a second communication system of a second user, the communication session including first video content of a first physical environment of the first user and second video content of a second physical environment of the second user, determine a first visualization action for a first physical object in the first physical environment in accordance with a first configuration setting of the first user for the communication session, obtain the first video content from a first camera of the first communication system, detect the first physical object in the first video content, and perform the first visualization action to modify the first video content. The processing system may then transmit first visualization information including the first video content that is modified to the second communication system.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interfaces to facilitate communication between users via multiple modes of electronic communication. The system displays a conversation view that presents messages exchanged between a first user and at least one other user in an electronic chat conversation. The conversation view includes an interactive element to enable the first user to initiate a video call with the at least one other user. Based on receiving user input corresponding to an interaction with the interactive element, the system initiates the video call with the at least one other user. The system displays an active call view to facilitate the video call with the at least one other user. Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provided herein can be used to improve the control, selection and transmission of data to a remote video conferencing environment, by use of a plurality of wired or wirelessly connected electronic devices. In one example, the transmission of data from a local environment can be improved by switching the source of visual inputs (e.g., cameras or display of an electronic device, such as laptop) and/or audio inputs (e.g., microphones) to the one or more appropriate visual and audio sources available within the local environment. The most appropriate visual and audio sources can be the sources that provide the participants in the remote environment the most relevant data giving the remote users the best understanding of the current activities in the local environment.

Abstract: Advances in computing and communication performance are commonly followed by applications that utilize such advances. Electronic conferences comprising audio and video may tax even the most advanced network and computing platforms when sufficient demand is placed on the conference. Accordingly, utilizing conference resources effectively and efficiently remains a concern. By allocating participating devices to either a push-to-talk group or a non-push to talk group, conference participants may selectively be enabled to contribute freely or limited to observe the conference. As a result, resources required to receive conference content from the participating devices may be allocated only to those that warrant such an allocation and not waste allocated resources that are not, or not currently, contributing to the conference content.
Abstract: A system that is capable of receiving and interpreting a user's spoken commands is also coupled to a television interface device that controls video programming content displayed the user's television. The user can speak commands to cause certain programs to be played, and to control various functions of the television. The system can track and analyze a user's video viewing habits. In addition, the system is able to determine which of multiple users might be interested in a particular video program, and the system can play marketing messages regarding that video program to those users that might be interested in viewing the video program.

Abstract: A method of communicating between an operator server and a user device for recording audio and/or video data includes the operator server receiving video data and/or audio data from the user device; the operator server initiating a session with an operator interface, wherein the session is initially in a pre-interaction mode and in response to receiving an instruction from the operator interface to change the session to an interaction mode, control the operator interface in order to change the session to an interaction mode, wherein, when in the interaction mode, a user of the user device and an operator of the operator interface are enabled to communicate with one another. The operator server is configured to begin recording of the video data and/or audio data before controlling the operator interface to change to the interaction mode and to continue recording received video data and/or audio data after said change.
Abstract: A system that is distinct from a remote server and distinct from a client device receives, over a first communications channel, a first data stream for a first media item. The system receives, over a second communications channel, from an application at the client device, a second data stream for audio data that includes vocals provided by a user as the first media item plays. The system measures a latency of the second communications channel and overlays, with the first media item, the vocals provided by the user as the first media item plays to generate a composite data stream. The overlaying comprises offsetting the first data stream from the second data stream in accordance with the measured latency of the second communications channel and combining the first and second data streams in accordance with the offset of the data streams.
Abstract: A data transmission control method includes: acquiring identities of multiple conference members required to attend a conference when a local area network conference request is detected, wherein the conference members correspond to multiple second NAN devices; determining communication levels of the conference members based on the identities of the conference members, and establishing a corresponding relation between transmission levels of data resources and the communication levels of the conference members; creating a first NAN conference group, and inviting the at least one second NAN device to join the first NAN conference group; and performing data transmission in the first NAN conference group based on the corresponding relation.

Abstract: Disclosed here is a method to determine a user intent when a user device initiates an interactive voice response (IVR) call with a wireless telecommunication network. A processor can detect the IVR call initiated with the network and determine whether the user device is a member of the network. Upon determining that the user device is a member of the network, the processor can obtain user history including interaction history between the user and the network. Based on the user history, the processor can predict the user intent when the user initiates the IVR call. The processor can detect whether user device is a 5G capable device. Upon the determining that the device is 5G capable and based on the predicted user intent, the processor can suggest to the user an application configured to execute on the user device and configured to address the predicted user intent.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for generating avatars based on physical sensor measurements. One of the methods includes receiving, by a second user device from a video streaming platform system during a video streaming session between a first user device and the second user device, an updated physical sensor measurement of the first user device. An updated graphical representation of an avatar selected by a first user of the first user device is generated by the second user device based on the updated physical sensor measurement of the first user device. The updated graphical representation of the avatar is presented by the second user device on a display device of the second user device during a video streaming session between the first user device and the second user device.
Abstract: The Controlled Environment Media And Communication System delivers communications services to residents of controlled facilities using a common network architecture. Some of the communications capabilities of the Controlled Environment Media And Communication System include media distribution, video visitation, intra-facility messaging, and other such communications services.
Abstract: One example method of operation may include collecting call metric data over a predefined period of time for identified calls, querying the call metric data to identify whether one or more call filtering criteria parameters require changes, determining one or more call filtering criteria parameters require changes based on a deviation from one or more expected call metric data values included in the call metric data, modifying one or more of the call filtering criteria parameters, and updating an active call scam model stored on a call processing server based on the one or more call filtering parameters.
