  • Patent number: 11688247
Abstract: According to some implementations, when a triggering symbol lands in a defined area of a slot game display during an instance of a base game, there is a chance that the triggering symbol may change to a new symbol. If so, the new symbol may be held in the defined area and may persist during one or more additional purchased base game instances. The new symbol may persist if at least one additional triggering symbol lands in the defined area in subsequent bought games. Each additional triggering symbol may automatically change to a new symbol as the additional triggering symbol lands in the defined area of the slot game display. Whether the triggering symbol will change to a new symbol may involve a random component. In some examples, the greater the number of triggering symbols, the greater the probability the triggering symbol will change to the new symbol.

  • Patent number: 11651654
Abstract: Various systems and methods for providing an enhanced return to player (RTP) mode is provided. During play of a base game, certain tracking elements are collected over a number of plays. After a predetermined quantity of elements are collected, play of the enhanced RTP mode begins. For the play of the enhanced RTP mode, a wager is required. A quantity of plays of the enhanced RTP mode is provided that matches the quantity of tracking elements accumulated to trigger the mode.

  • Patent number: 11625894
Abstract: Multiple snapshots of a scene are captured within an executing application (e.g., a video game). When each snapshot is captured, associated color values per pixel and a distance or depth value z per pixel are stored. The depth information from the snapshots is accessed, and a point cloud representing the depth information is constructed. A mesh structure is constructed from the point cloud. The light field(s) on the surface(s) of the mesh structure are calculated. A surface light field is represented as a texture. A renderer uses the surface light field with geometry information to reproduce the scene captured in the snapshots. The reproduced scene can be manipulated and viewed from different perspectives.

  • Patent number: 11617948
Abstract: A plurality of game objects whose appearance can be changed are simultaneously displayed on a display section. An image corresponding to at least one type of an item object among a plurality of types of item objects is designated as a designation object on the basis of an instruction from a user. When the designation object is designated, whether each of the plurality of game objects is a wearing-possible game object that can wear the item object corresponding to the designation object or a wearing-impossible game object that cannot wear the item object corresponding to the designation object, is determined. Then, a display is changed such that the wearing-possible game object is caused to wear the item object and the wearing-impossible game object is caused not to wear the item object.

  • Patent number: 11607611
Abstract: Virtual game worlds for computer games can be provided using machine learning. The use of machine learning enables the virtual game worlds to be generated at run time by standard consumer hardware devices. Machine learning agents are trained in advance to the characteristics of the particular game world. Then, these suitably trained machine learning agents can be used to generate a relevant portion of a virtual game world, such as a portion of the virtual game world that is proximate to a play's position. Advantageously, the virtual game world can be provided in high resolution and is able to cover a substantially larger region than conventional practical.

  • Patent number: 11590425
Abstract: An example of an information processing system is configured to, in a draw mode, display two or more selection candidates. In the draw mode, when a selection instruction to select at least one of unselected selection candidates is given, a game character that corresponds to the selected selection candidate is granted to the user. When the number of unselected selection candidates is equal to a first number, the process decreases an amount by which the predetermined parameter is decreased as compared with a case where the number of unselected selection candidates is equal to a second number greater than the first number. When a cumulative grant count becomes equal to or greater than a reference count, the information processing system permits execution of a designated mode in which a game character designated by the user is granted to the user.
