Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying and associating context images with zones or devices of a security system or a home automation system are provided. Such systems and methods may include associating each of a plurality of zones or devices of the security system or the home automation system with a respective context image and displaying the respective context image for one of the plurality of zones or devices in response to a user interface of the security system or the home automation system receiving user input.

Abstract: A system may receive application data in a client-incompatible format and convert at least a portion of the application data into an alternate client-compatible format. In one example, the incompatible format may comprise Enhanced Binary Interchange Format (EBIF) while a client-compatible format may include a web format such as JavaScript, XML or HTML. Interactions (e.g., commands and user input) associated with the application may be received and converted. The interactions may then be processed using the application.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for presenting an energy state associated with an aircraft with respect to an operating envelope region for a procedure to restart an engine of the aircraft. One method involves providing a graphical user interface display having a first reference axis corresponding to a first energy state parameter and a second reference axis corresponding to a second energy state parameter different from the first energy state parameter, providing a graphical representation of an operating envelope region associated with a procedure for starting an engine of the aircraft with respect to the first and second reference axes, obtaining current values for the first and second energy state parameters for the aircraft, and providing a graphical representation of the aircraft positioned with respect to the first and second reference axes based on the current values for the first and second energy state parameters.

Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for controlling loading of web content with scrolling. A scroll manager of a web browser may determine a ratio of a first dimension of a portion of a webpage visible within a viewport of the web browser to a second dimension of an entirety of the webpage. Prior or to loading any other portion of the webpage, the scroll manager may set a scroll thumb dimension within a scroll bar of the web browser based on the ratio. The scroll manager may receive an interaction on the scroll bar of the web browser to arrive at a position within the webpage relative to the second dimension to be displayed within the viewport. Responsive to the interaction, the scroll manager may select a requested portion of the webpage corresponding to the first dimension about the position to render in the viewport.

Abstract: A system, product, and method including automatically performing extraction of slides from multimodal content, performing object extraction from each of the slides, allowing object substitution through semantics and concepts of the objects extracted, processing audio synchronized with the slides enriched with cognitive computing, search engine, and knowledge base, to provide annotations of the slides, processing the audio synchronized with the object being presented in each slide to enhance semantics and understanding, and curating for each step with human-machine interaction to provide a learning process by the system.

Abstract: Improved techniques to utilize and manage a group of media items (or media assets) on a computing device are disclosed. The group of media items can be utilized and managed at a host computer for the host computer as well as a media device (e.g., media player) that can couple to the host computer. One popular example of a group of media items is know as a playlist, which can pertain to a group of audio tracks. One aspect pertains to providing a persistent media device playlist at a host computer. Another aspect pertains to imposing capacity limits to a playlist, such as a media device playlist. Still another aspect pertains to a graphical user interface that enables a user to trade-off storage capacity of a media device between media asset storage and data storage. Yet still another aspect pertains to a graphical user interface that assists a user with selecting media items to fill a group of media items.

Abstract: A machine learning model is trained using tuples that identify an actor, a resource, and a rating based on a normalized count of the actor's attempts to access the resource. Actors may be users, groups, IP addresses, or otherwise defined. Resources may be storage, virtual machines, APIs, or otherwise defined. A risk assessor code feeds an actor-resource pair to the trained model, which computes a recommendation score using collaborative filtering. The risk assessor inverts the recommendation score to obtain a risk measurement; a low recommendation score corresponds to a high risk, and vice versa. The risk assessor code or other code takes cybersecurity action based on the recommendation score. Code may accept a risk R, or aid mitigation of the risk R, where R denotes a risk that the scored pair represents an unauthorized attempt by the pair actor to access the pair resource.

Abstract: A system and method is provided that displays cursors for street level images, where the cursor changes appearance based on the objects in the image, such as the geographic distance between the objects and the camera position and the surface of the objects.
