Abstract: A system may receive application data in a client-incompatible format and convert at least a portion of the application data into an alternate client-compatible format. In one example, the incompatible format may comprise Enhanced Binary Interchange Format (EBIF) while a client-compatible format may include a web format such as JavaScript, XML or HTML. Interactions (e.g., commands and user input) associated with the application may be received and converted. The interactions may then be processed using the application.

Abstract: An exemplary system includes a content processing subsystem configured to record at least a subset of a media content program and detect a defective portion of the recorded media content program that failed to be properly recorded. The content processing subsystem is further configured to provide a recording status indicator to an output device for presentation to a user, the recording status indicator identifying the defective portion of the recorded media content program. In certain implementations, the content processing subsystem is further configured to heal at least a subset of the defective portion of the recorded media content program and provide a healing status indicator to the output device for presentation to the user, the healing status indicator identifying the healed portion of the recorded media content program.

Abstract: Various embodiments illustrated and described herein include one or more of systems, methods, software, and data structures for package file presentation. Some embodiments include receiving a package file including a presentation specification, one or more content files, and metadata defining display elements within the presentation specification and associating each display element with one of the content files. The package file may then be presented by instantiating the presentation specification as a function of executable code embedded within the presentation specification. Some embodiments further include instantiating each display element, each display element including a link to an associated content file within the package file and to generate and distribute display elements within a graphical user interface.

The media content locations are identified in social network data stored by a set-top box device. The method includes receiving, at the set-top box device, a command to present image cells to a display device. The command is responsive to an alert sent from the set-top box device. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and terminal for operating through a touch screen. The method includes: after a transparent virtual keyboard is displayed, receiving a first operation for a display area of the transparent virtual keyboard through a touch screen; determining, according to the first operation, that a target object of the first operation is a page content in the display area of the transparent virtual keyboard; and performing the first operation for the page content in the display area of the transparent virtual keyboard. Therefore, the operation may be directly performed for the determined target object. Therefore, no additional operation is required to perform switching between the transparent virtual keyboard and the page, thereby reducing user operations and improving the user experience.

Abstract: A system, a machine-readable storage medium storing instructions, and a computer-implemented method are described herein to modify a size of one or more input detection areas. A size modifier accesses user interface size data. The user interface size data comprises a size for a first user interface element and a size for a first user input detection area. The size modifier determines a size of a display area of a user device. The size modifier calculates a modified size of the first user interface element. The modified size of the first user interface element is based on the size for the first user interface element and the size of the display area. The size modifier calculates a modified size of the first input detection area based on the size for the first input detection area and a first factor unrelated to the size of the display area.

Abstract: System and method for integrating between a graphic user interface and various types of e-commerce platforms. Here various types of e-commerce platforms will typically provide different types of electronic product pages, each typically with various original selection options. The system described herein provides a more standardized configurator and user interface, and uses this more standardized configurator and user interface to capture information from the various e-commerce platforms and display data to the user. The more standardized configurator and user interface can then be used to communicate user selections to the various different types of electronic product pages and platforms.

Abstract: A method of managing screens of a portable terminal includes: requesting a movement of an icon; displaying summary information corresponding to each of the screens in response to the request; requesting a movement and a rearrangement of the icon in relation to one piece of summary information among the displayed summary information; and moving the icon to and rearranging the icon on a screen corresponding to the summary information in relation to which the movement and the rearrangement of the icon is requested.

Abstract: We disclose a system, method and software product for generating custom badges by users. A website presents to the user a badge creating dashboard, predefined color themes, predefined image frames, an badge editing canvas and image transformation tools. A user enters a user chosen image into the badge creating canvas. The user chooses a color theme and uses the image transformation tools to select portions of the image for viewing, and arranges the image in the image canvas for viewing. When the user is satisfied with the badge preview, the user sends a save request which is transferred from the browser to a server. The server generates the custom badge by applying the user chosen theme to the user chosen image. The custom badge is then saved for future retrieval by the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing identification tests. In some embodiments, a system and a method are provided for generating and serving to a user an animated challenge graphic comprising a challenge character set whose appearance may change over time. In some embodiments, marketing content may be incorporated into a challenge message for use in an identification test. The marketing content may be accompanied by randomly selected content to increase a level of security of the identification test. In some embodiments, a challenge message for use in an identification test may be provided based on information regarding a transaction for which the identification test is administered. For example, the transaction information may include a user identifier such as an IP address. In some embodiments, identification test results may be tracked and analyzed to identify a pattern of behavior associated with a user identifier. A score indicative of a level of trustworthiness may be computed for the user identifier.

Abstract: Technologies are described herein for facilitating discovery of items added to electronic wish lists. Real-time messages that identify items that have been recently added to wish lists are received from a wish list service. A stream of real-time data is generated from the messages that identifies the items added to the wish lists. A network application programming interface (API) is exposed for providing the stream to clients. A client may obtain the stream from the network API and utilize the stream to generate a visualization of the items added to the wish lists in real-time. Through functionality provided by the API, the stream may also be filtered and searched. Trend data may also be obtained through the API that identifies items that have been added to the wish lists most frequently over a period of time.

Abstract: A system and method for flashing wireless devices. One or more wireless devices are received. The testing device being operable to receive the one or more wireless devices simultaneously. A selection of one or more original equipment manufactures (OEMs) is received. Models of wireless devices associated with the one or more OEMS are visually displayed in response to receiving the selection of the one or more OEMS associated with the one or more wireless devices. A selection of one or more models associated with the one or more wireless devices is received on the test device. Instructions associated with the one or more models are displayed for flashing the one or more wireless devices. The one or more wireless devices are flashed in response to a user selection to flash each of the one or more wireless devices.
