Abstract: A synchronization server for fulfilling orders under non-persistent network conditions includes a terminal update element, a queue processor, and a service area map. The terminal update element receives changes corresponding to one or more orders from one or more POS terminals. The queue processor queues the changes in terminal queues that correspond to the terminals, where the state changes are accessed by the terminal update element and transmitted to a first one of a subset of the terminals, from oldest to youngest, when the first one of the subset of the terminals is operably connected to the network, and where the state changes are maintained in terminal queues corresponding to other ones of the subset while the other ones of the subset remain operably disconnected from the network. The service area map is coupled to the queue processor and associates each of the terminals to one or more service areas, where the subset corresponds to one of the one or more service areas.

Abstract: A system, a medium, and a method are provided to exchange data packets over a communications network and perform machine learning operations. A network server device receives account data from client devices that correspond to account profiles. An account engine of the network server device segments the account profiles into profile groups based on a respective balance associated with each account profile. The account engine determines target accounts from profile groups based on behavioral data. Further, data processing components of the network server device determine a method of contact for each target account. The data processing components determine a respective time to communicate with a respective device for each target account. Further, communication components of the network server device initiate communications to the respective devices at the respective times for each target account.

Abstract: A mobile printer operable to receive orders including restaurant orders via an API from a server communicating through a wireless network including cellular network. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, an API existing on a networked server enables the server to communicate with external clients, store print jobs according to requests by external clients, and respond to status requests. The API may authenticate requests from all clients; receive and store orders; listen to polling requests from the thermal ticket printer; communicate orders to the thermal ticket printer when present; store status of print jobs for clients; monitor the availability of the thermal ticket printer; and serve as a gateway or router for external computing clients to a communications network including the Internet.

Abstract: An inventory warehouse management system includes a portable computing device that is coupled to a heads up display and a scanner. The display is configured to display and interact with information received from the computing device. The scanner is operable to identify a container identification (ID) of a container in a warehouse. The computing device is operable to send the container ID to a server via a network. The computing device is operable to receive container information from the server in response to the container ID, and is further operable to communicate the container information to the display. The display is operable to initiate a delivery confirmation for the server when the container is delivered. The scanner and display are operable to audit a first container and provide an audit result of the first container to the server. The audit comprises container information compared with contents of the container.

Abstract: An inventory management system includes one or more radio frequency identification (RFID) readers each configured to detect RFID labels attached to inventory items within a certain radius of the RFID reader. The one or more RFID readers are configured to automatically determine a directional movement of RFID labels and attached inventory items. A first computer server is configured to communicate, via a network connection, with one or more client devices, and also configured to receive data gathered by the one or more RFID readers. The first computer server is configured to maintain a real-time inventory status of the inventory items. The real-time inventory status includes a location of the one or more RFID labels, and further includes a current usage state of the attached inventory items. The first computer server is configured to transmit the real-time inventory status to a display of the client device.

Abstract: A networked system for providing and maintaining a set of liquid dispenser stations is described. The fluid dispensers communicate with a managing/supervisory cloud server via an interposed base station. The fluid dispensers communicate locally with the base station via wireless communication network links. The base station operates as an accumulator of status/usage information provided by the dispenser stations and bridge for passing information and control commands between the cloud server and the individual dispenser stations. The dispenser stations are configured with control processors (controllers) to facilitate performing a variety of local control operations associated with dispensing liquids that have been cooled (or heated) prior to dispensing by the dispenser stations.

Abstract: An airline operations system, controller and method reschedules flights affected by a disruption that precludes a planned schedule for the flights. The method includes obtaining data related to a scheduled origination and a scheduled destination for each of a set of passengers scheduled on the flights, generating a passenger connection network of connections between the scheduled origination and the scheduled destination for a subset of the set of passengers, applying at least one criterion to the passenger connection network and rescheduling at least one connecting flight based on the criteria. The system and controller solves a network flow problem to reschedule a subset of connecting flights to have a delayed projected departure time. Resulting output can include the set of delayed flights along with modified projected departure times, a set of flight cancellations and a set of passengers with missed connections.

An example method includes receiving, at a warehouse management system (WMS), information of a warehouse and items of the warehouse, identifying an item shipment expectation including new items expected to be received at the warehouse at a future date and items present at the warehouse marked for delivery at the future date, determining an optimal layout of the items of the warehouse at a present date based on the item shipment expectation, determining an amount of time to rearrange the items, by one or more of robotic devices rearranging the items, to the optimal layout based on a time measurement for robotic devices to perform tasks, and determining to rearrange the items of the warehouse based on the amount of time to rearrange the items being less than a threshold amount of time.

Abstract: A merchant point-of-sale (“POS”) system architecture is provided. Systems and methods are provided for enabling merchant funded rewards at a POS terminal. Systems and methods are provided for tracking customer activity and determining an appropriate merchant funded reward. The POS terminal may determine an appropriate merchant, funded reward based on location and historical customer transaction data. The merchant may offer a custom reward that promotes customer behaviors that are advantageous to the merchant and other transaction participants. A merchant funded rewards program may be configured to drive incremental sales to merchants that participate in the program.

Abstract: A system that provides automated/semi-automated price quotations for fabricating one or more instantiations of a structure that is modeled in a computer model. The system automatedly extracts price-influencing data from the computer model. The system uses the extracted pricing data, non-extracted pricing data, and pricing parameters to automatedly determine a firm fabrication-price quotation. In some embodiments, the system further includes fabrication ordering functionality that allows a user place a fabrication order with a fabricator based on the firm price quotation. Such systems can be implemented in any of a wide variety of manners, such as within a single computing device or across a communications network, among others. In some embodiments, functionalities of the system are integrated into computer-modeling software directly of via add-on software.

Any missing pieces of media content of the one or more current features of any of the current items of motorized transport inventory are identified based on the one or more determined matched master pieces of media content. One or more of the identified missing pieces of media content of any of the current items of motorized transport inventory is obtained.
