  • Patent number: 11120446
Abstract: A method is described as implemented in a mobile device having a lock screen wallpaper, where the mobile device maintains a profile storing authentication data associated with both a primary user of a mobile device and one or more secondary users that are authorized to use the mobile device. When the mobile device is at a business location, the secondary user(s) are non-intrusively authenticated as authorized user(s) of the mobile device. Upon successful authentication a scanning code is displayed over a lock screen wallpaper of the mobile device, where power is conserved in the mobile device by providing the scanning code to the secondary user(s) without unlocking the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11100576
Abstract: In some examples, a system may receive, from a plurality of merchant devices associated with a plurality of merchants, transaction information of transactions performed between the plurality of merchants and a plurality of customers. The system may determine for a first merchant, based on the transaction information received from a first merchant device of the first merchant, one or more factors indicative of a business of the first merchant, and may compare the transaction information received from the plurality of merchant computing devices with the one or more factors determined for the first merchant to generate a custom financing offer for the first merchant. In addition, the system may send the custom financing offer to the first merchant device and, in response to an indication of acceptance of the custom financing offer, may send an instruction to provide a financed amount to an account of the first merchant.

  • Patent number: 11093921
Abstract: A server for fulfilling orders under non-persistent network conditions includes a terminal update element, a queue processor, and a service area map. The terminal update element receives changes corresponding to orders from POS terminals. The queue processor queues the changes in terminal queues that correspond to the terminals, where the state changes are accessed by the terminal update element and transmitted to a first one of a subset of the terminals, from oldest to youngest, when the first one of the subset of the terminals is operably connected to the network, and where the state changes are maintained in terminal queues corresponding to other ones of the subset while the other ones of the subset remain operably disconnected from the network. The service area map associates the terminals to one or more geofenced service areas as a function of received signal strength indication (RSSI) values.

  • Patent number: 11085805
Abstract: The measured volume of fuel in a storage tank of a vehicle is determined by positioning a sensor within a storage tank holding the fuel. A processor is also located on the vehicle for receiving data relative to the volume of the fuel in the storage tank, the mileage of the vehicle, and vehicle location, date, and time, for transmitting such data to a remote or centralized server (“RS”). The RS also receives fuel dispensed data from a fuel dispensing station (“FDS”), including location, date/time, and volume of fuel dispensed to the storage tank of the vehicle. The RS then compares the data received from the vehicle processor with the fuel dispensed data to determine whether there are any discrepancies between the dispensed volume of fuel purchased, as indicated in the FDS data, and the measured increase of volume of fuel in the vehicle at the time of dispensing from the FDS.

  • Patent number: 11080710
Abstract: Various embodiments herein each include at least one of systems, methods, and software for in situ and network-based transaction classification. Such embodiments use advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques of consumer's transaction attributes to reduce shrink at checkout. One embodiment, in the form of a method, includes processing a dataset of transactions to identify normal transaction patterns and processing a dataset of transactions that included known fraud to identify variation patterns between the identified normal transaction patterns and the data of each transaction. The method further includes generating at least one pattern model based on the identified normal transaction patterns and the identified variation patterns. In such embodiments, each pattern model typically includes classification values for determining a likelihood of fraud in transactions.

  • Patent number: 11080651
Abstract: An inventory system for storing and locating goods in a storage area. Ordered goods are placed in bag units at a central filling center. The filled bag units are shipped to local storage areas where they are placed onto rails in a storage structure. The rails include an imaging sensor at each bag receiving location defined on the rails for obtaining a bag identifier that is affixed with the bag unit. The bag identifier and the rail address for each bag unit is stored on a local computer database. When a user wants to pick up stored goods, the user inputs the identification or order information for the goods and the computer will search the inventory to locate the goods in a specific stored bag unit. The rail adjacent the bag unit will be illuminated to facilitate locating the goods.

  • Patent number: 11068843
Abstract: The inventory management system (“the system”) includes a series of bar codes and a bar code reader. The bar codes are placed around the inventory storage area on or near containers which store inventory items. The bar codes identify the contents of the container. The system includes a bar code reader and an augmented reality viewing device. The system includes a processor which stores instructions for identifying the bar codes associated with each of the inventory items in an order. When the bar code reader scans a bar code associated with an item in the order, the augmented reality viewing device emits a cue that indicates the item should be picked. The containers may be connected to sensors which detect when an item has been removed and which transmit the sensor data to a processor. The processor may include instructions for processing the sensor data to maintain a current inventory.
