Abstract: A computer device implemented browsing system with a browser application operable on the computer device and configured to simultaneously retrieve, operate and display data and functional components related to a plurality of items intended for display on a single display window of the browser application over a display of the computer device. There is a processor configured to retrieve and process the data and there are functional components related to the plurality of items The plurality of items are displayed, operated and made accessible for a user on the single display window, and the browser application is configured to allocate an area for display for every item on the display window and direct all the data and functional components related to an item: to the area on the display window. The items are selected from software programs and applications, internet and intranet websites, web links, webpages and documents.

Abstract: An image editing method comprises: a step of acquiring identification information on each of a plurality of operation instruction units for instructing editing of an image, a step of automatically selecting one or more images for editing from a group of images to classify the one or more images into a group of usable images based on the identification information, a step of determining a right to edit reaching contents of processing which each operation instruction unit is authorized to perform against each image in the group of usable images, and a step of performing editing processing on an image to be edited in the group of usable images based upon the determined right to edit according to an editing instruction supplied from each operation instruction unit.

Abstract: A digital magazine presents content items based on user interaction with or preference for content items determined based on how a user flips through different content items of the digital magazine. For example, the user may slow down or pause flipping, flip through content items at an inconsistent pace or change the navigational direction of the flipping, when the user is encountered with content items of interest. By analyzing how a user flips through different content items, content items that the user interacts with can be determined, and content items that the user may interact with or prefer can be determined and presented to the user.

Abstract: An approach is provided for selecting and displaying image(s). A user and user profile information corresponding to the user are identified. A sentiment of the user is identified by determining that user is in proximity to a digital picture frame in a room, receiving a measurement of ambient lighting of the room from a light sensor coupled to the digital picture frame, and determining an emotional state of the user based on the ambient lighting. Based on the user profile, an association is determined between the sentiment of the user and sentiment(s), which are determined to be conveyed by image(s). Based on the ambient lighting, the association between the sentiment of the user and the sentiment(s), and the image(s) conveying the sentiment(s), the image(s) are selected from multiple images. The selected image(s) are displayed on a display included in the digital picture frame.

Abstract: An electronic device with a display can receive an alert comprising information, and in response to receiving the alert, issue a perceptual output. The device can detect a user input and determine whether the user input was detected within a predetermined time interval after the perceptual output. In accordance with a determination that the user input was detected within the predetermined time interval, the device can display a notification on the display, wherein the notification comprises a first portion of the information. If the device continues to detect the user input after a second predetermined time period, the device can display a second portion of the information, where the second portion is different from the first portion.

The multi-view display system may be calibrated to a coordinate system of the viewing area. The coordinate system can be based on the physical dimensions of the viewing area, a model or other representation of the viewing area, and/or characteristics detected by a sensing system observing the viewing area. A zone management device provide a user interface showing a representation of the viewing area along with representations of established viewing zones rendered in context within the viewing area. User interface elements allow a user to add, remove, manipulate, configure viewing zones, and/or assign content to viewing zones. User interface elements can also allow a user to manipulate the representation of the viewing area.

Abstract: Provided is a process of conducting a collaborative session between two analytics graphical user interfaces (GUI), the process including: instructing a first computing device associated with a first user to display a first GUI having a first graph depicting a first set of values of a first metric; determining that the first graph is to be shared on a second computing device associated with a second user in a second GUI; inferring that the second user prefers to view the first metric in a second graph based on a record of previous interactions in which the second graph was selected to view the first metric; and in response, instructing the second computing device to display in the second GUI the second graph depicting at least some of the first set of values of the first metric.

Abstract: One exemplary system can receive a selection of a dataset via a graphical user interface (GUI). The dataset can represent a time-series projection. The system can feed the dataset into a first machine-learning model to obtain an output indicating whether the time-series projection has a data value that should be overridden with an override value. If the first machine-learning model indicates that the time-series projection has the data value that should be overridden, the system can feed the data value as input to a second machine-learning model to obtain an output indicating whether the override value should be greater than or less than the data value. The system can then render a visual directionality cue within the GUI based on the output from the second machine-learning model. The visual directionality cue can provide guidance for overriding the data value.
