Abstract: A hair volumizing device designed specifically for adding lift or volume to any hairstyle. The device comprises two arms with heated interlocking plates that employ interlocking two dimensional arrays of outwardly projecting individual teeth with alternating spaces. The individual tooth design and the two-dimensional array pattern provide substantial lift and holding strength. The individual teeth of the volumizing device transforms the under layer of a person's hair into a matrix that can support the outer or upper visible layer of hair to create volume. The various embodiments also minimize any discernible pattern left in the hair.

Abstract: A brush head for a toothbrush with bunches of bristles inserted therein, wherein at least one of these bunches of bristles protrudes out of the bristle surface in a perpendicular fashion and at least one of these bunches is inclined, and is characterized in that the inclined bunches of bristles comprise cylindrical bristles, and in that at least some of the bunches which protrude in a perpendicular fashion comprise pointed bristles.

Abstract: A hair-care device includes at least two jaws, a first jaw and a second jaw. The first and second jaw are elongated and hinged together so as to be able to shift between an open position and a closed position in which opposing working surfaces define a hair treatment region. An electric heating element is attached to at least one of the working surfaces. The first jaw includes at least one friction bar which is able to move along an adjacent working surface and which is adapted to engage with an opposing element of the second jaw to create, when the jaws are closed, a traction region which generates a traction force which exceeds the traction force generated by the treatment region as the device is moved over a lock of hair.

Abstract: A cosmetic material applying device which can efficiently apply a cosmetic material by fixing an applying member to prevent detachment, and improve exposure of the surface coming into contact with the hair, thus minimizing entwining the hair while combing the hair. In an embodiment the cosmetic material applying device has an applying member constructed of an elastic material, and a main body portion with an applying portion to which the applying member can be installed. In this embodiment the main body portion is further provided with a plurality of locking members which lock the applying member to the applying portion, comb teeth in a longer direction of the applying portion, comb teeth in a shorter direction in a leading end of the applying portion, and a through hole.

Abstract: A hair care tool to aid in the installation, care, and removal of hair braids and weaves comprising a long slender shaft approximately one (1) foot long with a handle grip in the middle is herein disclosed. While the exact configuration of the tool is envisioned to vary depending on the model, each end comprises a specific tool to aid in the installation, care and removal of hair braids and weaves. Said tools are envisioned to include a hook at each end for removal of micro braids and removing braiding tracks, a scissor configuration for cutting thread associated with hair weaves, and a comb for combing out the weave track. Each tool is envisioned to vary in size according the style of hair. The features of the tool are envisioned to speed various hair care processes thus saving time for a private user or professional beautician.

Abstract: A thin-type automatic cleaning device includes a main body, a fan module and a dust collecting box. The main body includes a placing chamber for receiving the fan module. The dust collecting box has an outer surface with a shape corresponding to that of the placing chamber, and the dust collecting box is received within the placing chamber. The lower casing is provided with a receiving cavity from the bottom surface toward the interior of the dust collecting box to cover the fan module. The dust collecting box forms a nested structure with the fan module thereby to reduce the thickness of the device.

Abstract: A hair coloring tool which includes a body which has an opening and interior walls that define an interior cavity for containing a fluid hair colorant. At least one dispensing structure is provided on the body which is in fluid communication with the interior cavity. A plunger is pivotally connected to the body. The plunger is removably positioned in the opening of the interior cavity and is in sealing engagement with the interior walls of the interior cavity such that upon manual depression of the plunger, fluid hair colorant is forced from the interior cavity through the dispensing structure. A variety of configurations of combing tines, brushes, and nozzles are provided to accommodate varying hair types and textures as well as for the chosen width of the application of hair colorant.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an applicator (1) having an applicator element (8) for applying a product, conveyed to the application zone (5) from a separate reservoir, onto a strand of hair or of fibers comparable therewith, and having a strand gripper (12) movable back and forth between a closed position and a opened position. A strand gripper (12) of this kind serves to select and subsequently guide the hair or strands during actual product application. For improved guidance of the hair or strands during product application, the strand gripper (12) comprises a guidance surface (13) that, with the gripper (12) in the closed position, entirely overlaps the application zone (5) and holds the strand in contact with the application zone (5), by preference presses it onto the application zone (5).

Abstract: An articulating toothbrush is disclosed that has a flexible bristle head the bristles of which may be changed between flat, concave and convex states for best brushing the fronts and backs of teeth. The change is quickly and easily made by a user of the brush by applying a force to the handle toward or way from the bristled head. The handle comprises an upper handle portion and a lower handle portion that are parallel to each other and slide with alongside each other when the user applies a linear force to the handle. Locking means are provided with the upper and lower handle portions to hold them in a position to which they are moved by applying a force to them.

Abstract: A hair holder device featuring an outer component having a slot disposed therein and an insertion component that can slideably insert snugly into the slot of the outer component. When the insertion component is within the slot, the slot surface and the outer surface of the insertion component can clamp and hold hair therein between, thereby creating a bun or puff effect for hair inserted therethrough. The bun or puff effect is shaped according to the shape of the insertion component.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a hair iron having upper and lower casings, a heat generating unit and a hinge connection unit. The hinge connection unit includes a hinge box secured to either of the upper and lower casings. First and second movable members each having a hinge shaft are provided in the hinge box, and move between a hinge coupling position and a hinge releasing position. An elastic member is elastically provided between the first and second movable members, and exerts an elastic force so that the hinge shaft moves to the hinge releasing position. A hinge-coupling retaining means is manipulated on an outside of the hinge box to move the hinge shaft to the hinge coupling position and simultaneously retain the hinge shaft in the hinge coupling position. A hinge-shaft connection lug is provided on a remaining one of the upper and lower casings, and has a hinge hole.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning chandeliers includes a hand-held jet gun having a proximal end connected to a source of hot water under positive pressure and a distal end having a spray head for discharging hot water under pressure in a spray pattern. A hand-held vacuum shield has at least one vacuum inlet connected to a source of negative pressure. Hot water discharged from the spray head is attracted to the hand-held vacuum shield when the spray head and the hand-held vacuum shield are held in relatively close proximity to one another and the hand-held vacuum shield is in fluid communication with the source of negative pressure. An object disposed between the spray head and the hand-held vacuum shield is cleansed by the action of hot water under positive pressure impinging against it. The hand-held vacuum shield protects objects not disposed between the spray head and the hand-held vacuum shield.

Abstract: A mop bucket comprises a bucket defining a first compartment and a second compartment. The bucket is rotatable between an upright position and a second position. A first fluid movement path is provided between the second compartment and the first compartment such that liquid in the second compartment drains to the first compartment under gravity when the bucket is in the upright position. A second fluid movement path is provided between the first compartment and the second compartment such that liquid in the first compartment drains to the second compartment under gravity when the bucket is in the second position. A method of operating the mop bucket is also provided.

Abstract: A manicure tool that includes an elongated housing shaped to be grasped by a user thereof to control the application of a nail polish to a finger nail or toe nail of a client; a brush supported at one end of the housing for controlling the application of the nail polish; a docking pad constructed and arranged to be engaged with the finger or toe at a location that is proximate to the finger nail or toe nail; and a pivot member for coupling the docking pad to the elongated housing at the one end of the elongated housing. The pivot member allows the housing to be pivoted relative to the docking pad and, in turn, controls the brush so as to be swept over the surface of the nail.

Abstract: A fusion comb is a single comb which houses two separate and independent combs. Each independent comb has a manually operated plunger which forces a hair product through the comb and out of a set of outlets in the teeth of that comb. By withdrawing the plunger, liquid is suctioned through the teeth and into the comb.

The bands of hair are disposed in a predetermined pattern to conceal the net while maintaining flexibility thereof. Independent attachment spring clips (20) are permanently secured in an upper portion of the support net (10) to removably secure the net in the wearer person's natural hair (43) wherein the net (10) and the attachment spring clips (20) are substantially non-visible in the natural hair to supplement and provide styling to the natural hair.
