  • Patent number: 10010123
Abstract: A hand gripping sport strap used to grip a bar or handle. One piece of strap material with two ends. Each end has two sides. The two ends are overlapped, forming a perpendicular right angle with each end placed in line with one side of the other end and secured. A 90° angle tip is formed with both ends and two sides of strap material. This tip made with two layers of strap material is now cut off making an adjustment area. The inside and outside of this adjustment area is then covered with a high-wear resistant and non-slip material, now referred to as the V area when completed. A loop of strap material created by bringing the two ends together will go on the back of the hand with the V area positioned in the palm of the hand after the hand and all five fingers are put through the loop of the strap material.

  • Patent number: 9987544
Abstract: A football helmet comprises a rotatable outer shell, an inner shell and a fastener assembly. The inner shell comprises an upper portion and a lower portion. The rotatable outer shell is of a hollow hemisphere shape. The rotatable outer shell has a cavity to receive the upper portion of the inner shell. An air gap is between the upper portion of the inner shell and the rotatable outer shell. A pre-determined torque is applied to a nut of the fastener assembly so that the nut is loosely tightened to a bolt of the fastener assembly. The rotatable outer shell is in a pogo stick motion when a force is applied to the rotatable outer shell so that the ring rotates along the rim track and an outer shell hole deflects toward an inner shell hole.

  • Patent number: 9992885
Abstract: A screen retention system for mounting of smartphones, tablet computers and other flat screen displays. A screen display is held against the inner surfaces of the opening of a semi-rigid arc by a post extending from the inner surface of the arc toward the opening. A screen based device may be inserted into the arc and retained within the opening by contact between the pressure plate and the opposing ends, thereby securing the screen based device within the arc by three points of pressure, at least one point of pressure supporting the screen based device against the inside surfaces of the opposing ends.

  • Patent number: 9981159
Abstract: A stationary aquatic kickboard for leg kicking exercises in water. Aging and quadriceps decline are the origin of this products creation. TKS is anchored to the swimming pool wall or deck by two separate lines having equal tension when in use. The buoyancy of the kickboard is adjustable to accommodate persons of different body weight and for the preferred level of floatation. The handle grips positions will permit user to exercise in the prone or supine positions. Board and handle grips will provide high stability to do high intensity leg kicking action. This equipment is able to detach for removal from pool. TKS Hydrakick system will be used for exercise, physical therapy, relaxation or recreation. TKS hydrakicking is optimal lower extremity exercise and does not cause trauma to the legs.

  • Patent number: 9970585
Abstract: This invention differs in design from other flange brackets in its shape and not limited in use as prescribed. The design of this invention differs from existing flange bracket designs in that it uses at least two bisecting section and a two piece assembly design. The “T” formed shape of the metal pieces offers a strength benefit by providing additional and distributed strength along and against the pipe flange. The application of operable fitted bolts tightened with operable nuts increases the strength of the bracket. The ability of the user to install this flange bracket is easily managed without having to cut the flanged pipes. With other repair systems metal pipes have to be cut; bracket installed then pipes reattached usually by welding the pipe or affixing a compression coupler; or with systems having interlaced flanged pieces do not provide the strength along and against a flanged pipe due to their flat construction.

  • Patent number: 9968822
Abstract: A rowing device having a seat and track arrangement, a handle, and a resistance mechanism, with the seat track being disposed on a carriage. The carriage itself is movable relative to a base of the device and is drivable in a posterior and anterior direction. The device includes a controller operatively connected to a drive mechanism and to a seat position sensor. As the rower exercises, the controller sometimes generates an instruction to move the carriage in an anterior direction when the seat is at or near its posterior extreme position, to thereby simulate a “rush” circumstance as may be encountered on a crewed shell.

  • Patent number: 9937402
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring athletic performance includes a swivel joint that includes a housing, a coupling member and a sensing device. The housing includes first and second arms, each arm defining an aperture therethrough, the arms defining a gap and being oriented with the respective apertures aligned across the gap from one another. The coupling member includes an axle that passes through the apertures, is rotatable with respect to the housing, forms first and second attachment points, and forms a protrusion that extends outward from the axle. The coupling member further includes a bar that couples with the attachment points, and curves sufficiently to clear ends of the arms as the axle rotates within the apertures. The sensing device is responsive to produce an electrical signal representative of athletic performance when rotation of the coupling member moves the protrusion through a predefined rotational position within the gap.
