  • Patent number: 11068651
Abstract: A platform is described for analyzing assessment data, including correlating assessment data with learning outcome data, and presenting analysis results through one or more interactive dashboards. A course syllabus and/or other course described information is analyzed to identify expected target outcomes to be achieved by students of the course, and to identify a relative weight of each of the various target outcomes based on their coverage in the syllabus. Assessment data describing a digitally administered assessment is analyzed to identify the categories that are assessed in the various questions of the test. The target outcomes are compared to the assessed categories to determine the extent to which the assessment is assessing each of the target outcomes, the degree of correspondence between the distribution of assessed categories and the distribution of target outcomes, and whether any gaps are present indicating that certain target outcomes are going unassessed or are insufficiently assessed.

  • Patent number: 11065552
Abstract: An apparatus includes one or more servers of a hosting service center operable to execute video game for one or more users remotely located from the hosting service center. The execution of the video game on the one or more servers produces uncompressed video of 3D animation. The one or more servers are operable to integrate live video with the video game such that the live video appears within the uncompressed video of 3D animation. The live video is received at a hosting service center from one or more client devices correspondingly associated with the one or more users. The uncompressed video 3D animation is generated, at least partially, using data streamed from a high-speed storage unit of the hosting service center coupled to the one or more servers. The high-speed storage unit is configured to load geometry for efficient loading and rendering of objects of the 3D animations.

  • Patent number: 11027200
Abstract: A distance measuring unit 331 measures a distance of a path of sound based on the number of map units between the map unit where a sound source is located and the map unit where a player character is located. An effect unit 332 attenuates the volume of a game sound based on the distance calculated by the distance measuring unit 331. Thereby, it is possible to attenuate the volume level of the sound effect depending on the distance where the sound is transmitted, even if the sound comes around an object obstructing sound.
