The inner layer 24a and the outer layer 24b each include multiple cords aligned with each other. The cords in the inner layer 24a and the cords in the outer layer 24b are inclined relative to an equator plane. A direction in which the cords in the inner layer 24a are inclined relative to the equator plane is opposite to a direction in which the cords in the outer layer 24b are inclined relative to the equator plane.

A method of manufacturing the sole structure comprises forming the bladder and fusing the portion of the first polymeric sheet to the second polymeric sheet.

Incorporating such an adaptable cache between existing storage devices and an external network interface of a media server, or at the network interface itself, significantly overcomes the transactional limitations of the storage devices, increasing performance and throughput for the overall digital media system. The adaptable cache of the present system and method may preferably be integrated directly into the storage and delivery pipelines, utilizing the native communications busses and protocols of those subsystems.

One or more “hint bits” are defined in an instruction that allow specifying which of the entries in the address translation cache are selectively preserved during an invalidation operation according to the value(s) of the translation mode bit(s). In the alternative, multiple instructions may be defined to preserve entries in the address translation cache that have specified addressing modes. In this manner, more intelligence is used to recognize that some entries in the address translation cache may be valid after a task or partition switch, and may therefore be retained, while other entries in the address translation cache are invalidated.
