Abstract: A delamination apparatus includes a stage, a first roll unit, a gripper, and a second roll unit. The stage includes a peripheral area and a substrate area. An edge of a donor film is attached at the peripheral area. An acceptor substrate, laminated at on the donor film, is disposed at the substrate area. The first roll unit is disposed on the donor film, moves in a lengthwise direction of the acceptor substrate. The gripper is disposed on the donor film, and is configured to separate the edge of the donor film from the stage so as to cause the donor film to contact the first roll unit. The second roll unit is disposed on the stage, contacts the donor film which contacts the first roll unit, and delaminates the donor film from the acceptor substrate by moving in the lengthwise direction with the first roll unit.

Abstract: A paper stripping member is removably supported by a supporting member disposed facing a circumferential surface of a photoreceptor drum, and strips a paper sheet off the circumferential surface. The paper stripping member includes an acute-shaped stripping nail, a holding member and a cover member. The holding member is configured removably from the supporting member, and holds the stripping nail in such a manner that the stripping nail extends toward the circumferential surface. The cover member is configured removably from the holding member, and covers at least part of the stripping nail in the extending direction of the stripping nail in a state where the cover member is attached to the holding member.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for separating a bonded body, whereby the bonded body can be separated easily. Specifically disclosed is a method for separating bonded bodies that includes a step that irradiates excimer light with a central wavelength of 1 to 300 nm on to a bonded body that has been formed by using an adhesive composition to bond substrates together, which includes and is formed by one type or two or more types of meth (acrylate) that have one or more (meth)acryloyl groups, and by hardening of said adhesive composition. At least one of the substrates is permeable to the excimer light.
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for producing an absorbent article are provided. Generally, the apparatuses and methods allow for continuous delivering of a plurality of web material to downstream equipment during a manufacturing process. In some embodiments, the apparatuses and methods allow for simultaneously unwinding, splicing, and lamination of multiple rolls of web material rotatably mounted to a frame and delivering the web material to various downstream manufacturing processes.

Abstract: Provided is a laminated body comprising a substrate to be ground and a support, where the substrate is ground to a very small thickness and can then be separated from the support without damaging the substrate. One embodiment of the present invention is a laminated body comprising a substrate to be ground, a joining layer in contact with the substrate to be ground, a photothermal conversion layer comprising a light absorbing agent and a heat decomposable resin, and a light transmitting support. After grinding the substrate surface which is opposite that in contact with the joining layer, the laminated body is irradiated through the light transmitting layer and the photothermal conversion layer decomposes to separate the substrate and the light transmitting support.
Abstract: A method of peeling a protective tape, includes the steps of mounting a wafer on a stage, the wafer having the protective tape adhered thereto so that the protective tape overlaps only a portion of a notch of the wafer, attaching a peeling adhesive tape to the protective tape, projecting a lift pin from the stage so that the portion of the protective tape which overlaps the notch is raised by a top surface of the lift pin, and with the protective tape raised by the lift pin, pulling the peeling adhesive tape so as to peel the protective tape from the wafer. The top surface of the lift pin has a shape that allows the top surface to raise the portion of the protective tape which overlaps the notch.
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for splicing together old and new thermoformable sheets in order to supply a continuous thermoforming operation. The apparatus is used to join together thermoformable sheets by: providing a first thermoformable sheet with a trailing edge and a second thermoformable sheet with a leading edge; forming a terminal edge portion with a hot element along the trailing edge and a complementary terminal edge portion along the leading edge by severing a scrap sheet from each portion; laterally retracting each scrap portion away from the trailing edge and the leading edge; and joining together the first thermoformable sheet and the second thermoformable sheet by interlocking together the terminal edge portion with the complementary terminal edge portion.
Abstract: A container or array of containers that is are sealed with a peelable seal is transported via a conveyor along a processing path toward a desealing station at which an adhesive surface having a width substantially the same as or greater than the width of the seal is pressed against the upper surface of the peelable seal. A collection rod applies a downward pressure on the adhesive surface, pressing it against the seal and keeping the container or container array in position on the conveyor as the plate moves with the conveyor. As the leading edge of the seal passes the collection rod, the adhesive surface is rolled upward, away from the plane of the seal, pulling up on the leading edge of the seal to separate it from the container or container array while the container or container array is held down by the roller. The removed seal is then discarded.

Abstract: An adhesive substance removing tool is provided with a cracking tool and a scrapping assembly which are removably coupled to a base. The cracking tool is used to crack the adhesive substance by forming breaking lines on the surface of the adhesive substance, and then the scrapping assembly is used to scrape off the adhesive substance by starting from the breaking lines. The combination of the cracking tool and the scraping assembly allows the user to remove adhesive substance easily and completely. Besides, the cutting assembly of the cracking tool is able to move freely both in straight-line or circular fashion, and the cracking tool can be prevented from rotating or disengaging once it is positioned in place on the base. Hence, convenience and safety of use can both be assured.
