    Abstract: The apparatus of measuring a workpiece according to the present disclosure includes a base, a measuring member, an upper arm member, a lower arm member, a first pin and a second pin, wherein the upper arm member includes an upper rotation frame and the lower arm member includes a lower rotation frame. When the first pin is moved to disconnect the upper rotation frame from the lower rotation frame, the upper rotation frame is rotatable. When the second pin is moved to lock the lower rotation frame to the measuring member, the lower rotation frame is free of rotation. When the first pin is moved to connect the upper rotation frame and the lower rotation frame with each other and when the second pin is moved to unlock the lower rotation frame from the measuring member, the lower rotation frame is rotatable with the upper rotation frame.

    Abstract: A receptacle for an electrical connector includes a metal housing body, a plastic main body positioned in the metal housing body, and flat terminals. The plastic main body incorporates with the metal housing body to form an accommodating space for being plugged into by a plug. First and second tongue parts disposed on the plastic main body are respectively close to upper and lower sides of the metal housing body. Each flat terminal includes a fixing part, a contacting part formed in a flat shape, and a soldering part. The contacting parts are respectively disposed on first and second tongue parts and respectively are exposed to the accommodating space in downward and upward directions. A tongue of a plastic body of the receptacle, i.e. first and second tongue parts, and the flat terminals are thus minimally damaged, to prevent the expensive cost of repairing a damaged receptacle.

    Abstract: A method for a localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) sensing system is disclosed. The LSPR sensing system has an optical detection system and a test specimen with metal nanoparticles arranged in an anisotropic periodic manner that generates a phase signal of the LSPR sensing system. The method includes: emitting an incident light toward the test specimen to excite the metal nanoparticles, thereby generating an emergent light; using the optical detection system to detect phases of a first polarization state and a second polarization state of the emergent light, where the first polarization state is perpendicular to the second polarization state; and obtaining a phase difference spectrum between the phases of the first and second polarization states, thereby determining a half maximum (FWHM) of the phase difference spectrum.
