Abstract: Some aspects of what is described here relate to managing permission settings applied to applications on a mobile device. Multiple management policies that apply to an application associated with a perimeter on a device are identified. A priority ranking for each management policy is determined for the application based on the perimeter with which the application is associated. A permission setting based on the priority rankings is applied to the application.

Abstract: An interlocking and removable tool for floral arranging, consisting of two interlocking pieces which form a sturdy grid when assembled. This grid is placed on top of a vase, jar, bowl, or other vessel used for housing arranged flowers. This grid keeps flowers in place while being arranged, without falling over, and allows the user to construct floral arrangements with ease. When the desired arrangement is complete, the interlocking components slide apart and are removed without disrupting the floral arrangement.

Abstract: A fixed spool fishing reel having a handle shaft connected to a handle to be rotated thereby and coupled to a bail arm drive of the wheel so that rotation of the handle shaft causes rotation of the bail arm. The handle shaft is coupled to the bail arm drive via a gear mechanism that enables the gear ratio between rotation of the handle shaft and rotation of the bail arm drive to be selectively altered. Also, a fixed spool fishing reel having a spool shaft and two gear wheels respectively on opposite sides of the spool shaft, both gear wheels being coupled to be driven by a rotary handle of the reel and both being selectable to be the one which drives a spool shaft oscillatory mechanism of the reel, the coupling between each of the said two gear wheels and the mechanism being via respective gearing arrangements to impart different respective ratios of handle rotary speed to oscillatory speed of the spool shaft.

Abstract: A system and method of dynamically generating ticket barcodes for ticket orders is disclosed. A ticket order including tickets related to an event may be received from an article dispensing machine or another source. Random barcodes can be generated as the basis for the ticket barcodes. The ticket barcodes can be generated based on barcode attributes unique to a ticket supplier or a venue of the event. Such barcode attributes can include a barcode prefix, a barcode suffix, a barcode total length, and a barcode symbology. When the tickets in a ticket order are ready to be produced, images of the ticket barcodes can be generated and assigned based on the barcode attributes. The user experience for purchasing tickets from disparate ticket suppliers and/or venues can accordingly be simplified and streamlined.

Abstract: A system and method of event ticketing utilizing an article dispensing machine is disclosed. A ticket order transaction related to an event is managed at an article dispensing machine by presenting a series of simple and easy to understand interface pages on a user interface. A user interacts with the interface pages to make decisions on aspects of the ticket order transaction. A listing of events available for ticket ordering on the article dispensing machine is curated by reviewing prospective events. The listing is curated based on the location of the article dispensing machine, the priority ranking of the event, the date and time of the productions, the category of the events, the location of the venue relative to the article dispensing machine, and/or other factors. A hyper-local listing of events can be presented so that the events that are most likely relevant to users.
