  • Publication number: 20010052381
Abstract: In a fibrous web, press-welded line portions are formed, and press-welded dot portions are formed in portions other than the press-welded line portions. The formation of the press-welded line portions makes it possible to raise the surface of the fibrous web, to increase the bulkiness of the nonwoven fabric and to make the nonwoven fabric soft. Further, figures are drawn by the press-welded line portions, whereby the nonwoven fabric comes to have an excellent appearance in comparison to a conventional nonwoven fabric.

  • Publication number: 20010006331
Abstract: In a rotation speed control apparatus for controlling a rotation speed of a direct-drive motor (300) comprising a stator (320) including three-phase coils (322; 601, 602, 603) and a rotor (310) rotatably supported on the stator, an electronic processing arrangement (611, 612, 613) electronically processes an electromotive force induced in one of the three-phase coils that is put into a high-impedance state to obtain a servo signal. A control arrangement (614-621) controls the rotation speed of the direct-drive motor on the basis of the servo signal. The stator includes N poles (321) around which the three-phase coils is wound. • Publication number: 20010006332
Abstract: The rotor of the direct-drive motor comprises the casing which has an upper surface of the disk-shape and an outer peripheral wall, a part of which is cut to form a cut portion. The magnet is fitted in the casing so that the positive and the negative poles of the magnet are exposed outside of the rotor through the cut portion and are arranged along the tangential direction of the disk-shape of the rotor. The index signal generator comprises the Hall element and generates the original signal at the time when the poles of the magnet passing in front of the Hall element are changed from the negative pole to the positive pole. The index signal is generated by delaying the original signal by the predetermined delay time.

  • Publication number: 20010006333
Abstract: The index signal generator generates an original signal every the rotor of the direct-drive motor rotates, and delays the original signal by a delay time to produce index signal. The index signal generator comprises, as the delay giving the delay time, the delay counter that can be set the initial value, instead of an analog delay circuit, a variable register and a capacitor. The delay counter comprises the counter and the counter value selector for determining the initial value of the counter. The counter starts to count the clock signals generated by the clock in response to the original signal, and stops counting the clock signals and generates the index signal when the number of the clock signals counted by the counter reaches the initial value.

  • Patent number: 6120012
Abstract: An engine mount which is capable of changing its vibration transmission characteristics with a simple structure using an inexpensive actuator is provided. A partition is inserted to a side member to which a mount rubber (rubber vibration isolator) of the engine mount is spliced to close a space between the mount rubber and to create an air chamber. An air duct pipe which communicates with the air chamber is connected to the side member and is connected to a VSV (vacuum switching valve) via a connection pipe. The VSV is controlled to ON/OFF states based on a driving voltage Vout from an ECU which corresponds to explosive vibrations of the engine to switch pressure within the air chamber to negative pressure of a vacuum tank in which negative pressure of an intake manifold is accumulated or to atmospheric pressure, interlocking with the vibration of the engine.

  • Patent number: 6117913
Abstract: An intestinal juice level regulator comprising, as the active ingredient, creosote or phenolic derivatives constituting creosote. As having the activities to promote the absorption of intestinal juices and/or to retard the secretion of intestinal juices, the active ingredient lowers the intestinal juice level in intestines. As the phenolic derivatives, usable are one or more of guaiacol, creosol, phenol, cresol and xylenol. The regulator is especially effective for retarding the hypersecretion of intestinal juices to be caused by heat-labile or heat-stable enterotoxin of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli.

  • Patent number: 6102000
Abstract: A fuel injection apparatus for a diesel engine has a fuel injection pump for feeding fuel under pressure and fuel injection nozzles provided in the engine to inject fuel fed from the injection pump. A pressure sensor for detecting fuel pressure is provided in a midway in a fuel line connecting the injection pump to the injection nozzles. An electronic control unit (ECU) computes the frequency of the fuel pressure based on a detected value from the pressure sensor immediately after fuel is injected from the injection nozzles. The ECU then computes a fuel bulk modulus based on the result of the computation of the frequency of the fuel pressure. Based on the computed bulk modulus, the ECU computes a fuel injection start and end time. Further, the ECU adjusts an instruction value for fuel injection control based on the result of the computation of injection start and end, and controls the injection pump based on the adjusted instruction value.
