  • Patent number: 11490316
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for predictive media streaming using microlocation. Microlocations of a mobile device can be determined by measuring one or more sensor values at one or more times, the one or more sensor values are determined from one or more signals emitted by a corresponding one or more signal sources. Streaming events can be stored at the mobile device. Each streaming event may include a destination device for playing media and a cluster location, the cluster location corresponding to sensor values that are spatially near each other. A selection of a media item is detected and one or more current sensor values are measured. A current cluster location can be identified using the one or more current sensor value. The current cluster location and the streaming events can identify a particular destination device for playing the selected media item.

  • Publication number: 20220317693
Abstract: A method of operating a mobile robot includes generating a segmentation map defining respective regions of a surface based on occupancy data that is collected by a mobile robot responsive to navigation of the surface, identifying sub-regions of at least one of the respective regions as non-clutter and clutter areas, and computing a coverage pattern based on identification of the sub-regions. The coverage pattern indicates a sequence for navigation of the non-clutter and clutter areas, and is provided to the mobile robot. Responsive to the coverage pattern, the mobile robot sequentially navigates the non-clutter and clutter areas of the at least one of the respective regions of the surface in the sequence indicated by the coverage pattern. Related methods, computing devices, and computer program products are also discussed.

  • Publication number: 20220318908
Abstract: System and method for aggressively trading a spread trading strategy in an electronic environment are provided herein. According to the example embodiments, a trader may configure the automated trading tool to trade as aggressively as possible by leaning on a price without an associated quantity. This allows a trader to possibly obtain a more profitable price as well as get filled faster. Traders submit an order for a spread and the automated trading tool calculates the quote order price based on a defined level of aggressiveness, the leaned on price, and the desired spread price. Based on the level of defined aggressiveness and the gap in the market, the automated trading tool may lean on a mildly, moderately, or extremely aggressive price.

  • Publication number: 20220305731
Abstract: Surface texturing of objects during additive manufacturing, including systems and methods thereof. For example, a method of surface texturing a three-dimensional (3D) object during additive manufacturing of the object: (a) irradiating a resin segment with patterned light at a build plane to polymerize said resin and grow said 3D object, then (b) advancing said object away from said build plane to bring a new segment of said resin in contact with said growing 3D object and establish a new build plane, and then repeating steps (a) through (b) until said 3D object is formed. For resin segments that correspond to portions of said 3D object to which surface texture is applied, said irradiating step is carried out by sequentially irradiating each resin segment with: (i) a first sub-exposure pattern and (ii) a second sub-exposure pattern, one of which is modified to include a texture pattern on a surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 11446151
Abstract: An annular cutting tool and related methods are provided for herein that exhibit improved durability, cutting performance, and/or reduced heat generation for bone graft resections. The annular cutting tool can include an annular body having cutting teeth with a flat, flared distal tip for greater durability. An extended gullet can be disposed between groups of adjacent cutting teeth to improve removal of bone debris away from the cutting teeth more and thus prevent binding during use. The annular cutting body can have a recessed surface portion to reduce the area of direct contact to bone and thus reduce heat generated. The recessed surface portion can also provide an area in which bone debris can accumulate away from the cutting teeth to prevent or reduce binding of the tool during use. The annular cutting body can also include a drill bit for drilling a hole in a resected bone graft.

  • Patent number: 11446041
Abstract: A bone saw cutting guide block includes a body and a bone saw guide assembly. The body includes a proximal surface and a distal surface. The bone saw guide assembly includes a first guide slot defined by the body. The first guide slot extends through the proximal surface and the distal surface along an insertion and retraction path. The first guide slot may accommodate lateral movement of a bone saw while guiding the bone saw along the insertion and retraction path. The first guide slot includes a first interior surface and a second interior surface. The first interior surface is spaced a first distance transversely away from the insertion and retraction path. The second interior surface is spaced a second distance transversely away from the insertion and retraction path. The first distance is smaller than the second distance.

  • Publication number: 20220269532
Abstract: The present invention includes embodiments of systems and methods for addressing the interdependencies that result from integrating the computing resources of multiple hardware and software providers. The integrated, multi-provider cloud-based platform of the present invention employs abstraction layers for communicating with and integrating the resources of multiple back-end hardware providers, multiple software providers and multiple license servers. These abstraction layers and associated functionality free users not only from having to implement and configure provider-specific protocols, but also from having to address interdependencies among selected hardware, software and license servers on a job-level basis or at other levels of granularity.

  • Publication number: 20220271438
Abstract: A tightly coupled dipole array is an egg-crate configuration defined by a plurality of electrically connected antenna unit cells. At least one of the unit cells utilizes a short or conductive element that shorts the common mode resonance. Shorting the common mode resonance in an intentional manner removes instances of the common mode resonance. To achieve the shorting of the common mode resonance, a conductive element is connected with one of the dipole arms and connected to the outer conductor of the feed or a ground plane. This creates a grounding loop that pushes the resonance out of the band of interest.
