Abstract: A camera acquires a 4D light field of a scene. The camera includes a lens and sensor. A mask is arranged in a straight optical path between the lens and the sensor. The mask including an attenuation pattern to spatially modulate the 4D light field acquired of the scene by the sensor. The pattern has a low spatial frequency when the mask is arranged near the lens, and a high spatial frequency when the mask is arranged near the sensor.

Abstract: An approach is provided for virtual agent session monitoring and barge-in. A platform monitors content of a communication session between a virtual agent and a user and determines whether the content satisfies a pre-defined rule. Further, the platform selectively initiates a barge-in of the communication session by a live agent based on the determination.

Abstract: A test framework architecture that separates the generation of random test actions from test execution and provides a way to record the state of the system under test at user controlled intervals. This saved state is used to bring the test system to the last known state before failure and then execute the much smaller set of actions to the point of failure, thus requiring shorter run time. Given the same time constraints, this enables the execution of this smaller set more frequently, providing better bug fix verification and shorter reproduction time.

Abstract: Multi-phase black level calibration (BLC) methods and systems are generally disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an image sensor comprises a pixel sensor array, a timing generator, and a front-end processing block. The front-end processing block also includes a first summing junction, a first BLC block, and a second BLC block. According to a first timing signal from the timing generator, the first BLC block is configured to iteratively generate a first calibration signal in a first phase based on a first set of adjusted black level signals associated with a first set of black pixels, a changing accumulator step, and a predetermined condition associated with a first target black level. According to a second timing signal from the timing generator, the second BLC block is configured to generate a second calibration signal for a second summing junction to apply to an image signal associated with one or more active pixels in the frame in a second phase.

The method also includes forming a plurality of queue filters for segregating a set of transactions associated with the plurality of business documents based on the set of business rules, and forming a plurality of queues based on the plurality of queue filters and at least one activity associated with the set of transactions. Further, the method includes generating on a display of the computing device, a list of agents assigned for each of the plurality of queues.

The virtual router maintains a database of hierarchically organized profile identifiers, including multiple lower-level profile identifiers, which explicitly define subscriber services, and multiple first-level profile identifiers, which define service contexts representing combinations of services available to subscribers when connected by (i) explicitly defining the subscriber services or (ii) referring to one or more of the multiple lower-level profile identifiers.

Modifications to a database can change the result of a query and therefore what the content of such a body of data, such as a result set, should be. Active Queries is an approach that enables a database server to detect database changes that alter the result of a query registered for a client and to notify a client of those changes. The notifications may be sent to, for example, a cache manager responsible for maintaining coherency of a result set cache generated by the query. The notification notifies the cache manager of when and/or what changes are needed to maintain the coherency of the cache.

A session in a session pool can be customized to with a specific set of affinities and attributes. Tags can be associated with the customized sessions. When a later request is made for a session having a set of desired characteristics, the tags can be used to search for and identify a session in the session pool having the requested characteristics. Also disclosed is a method, mechanism, and system for dynamic sizing of session pools.

Additional embodiments provide for cooling airflow through the light fitting, for temperature control of the LEDs, and for failure protection, to ensure a longest possible lamp lifetime.

Abstract: Described is a technology by which a relay is coupled (e.g., by a wire) to a network and (e.g., by a wireless link) to an endpoint. Incoming data packets directed towards the endpoint are processed by the relay according to an error correction scheme, such as one that replicates packets. The reprocessed packets, which in general are more robust against packet loss, are then sent to the endpoint. For outgoing data packets received from the endpoint, the relay reprocesses the outgoing packets based upon the error correction scheme, such as to remove redundant packets before transmitting them to the network over the wire. Also described are various error correction schemes, and various types of computing devices that may be used as relays. The relay may be built into the network infrastructure, and/or a directory service may be employed to automatically find a suitable relay node for an endpoint device.

Abstract: A third party that performs data stream computation is requested to return not only the solution to the computation, but also “annotations” to the original data stream. The annotations are then used by the data owner (in actuality, a “verifier” associated with the data owner) to check the results of the third party's computations. As implemented, the verifier combines the annotations with the original data, performs some computations, and is then assured of the correctness of the provided solution. The cost of verification is significantly lower to the data owner than the cost of fully processing the data “in house”.
