A second of the ion implant methods implants the polysilicon emitter layer with an active dopant to form a doped polysilicon emitter layer. The polysilicon emitter bipolar transistor is fabricated with enhanced performance.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing chemical sensors is provided for the process of the wafer level chemical sensor. The method is to form a frame around a certain area on the chemical sensor for locating sensing material, and then to fill the Sol-Gel sensing material into the frame. Besides, the present invention further provides a method for dividing the chemical sensor chips employed in such wafer level chemical sensor. The character of such method is to stick an adhesion object such as blue tape on the backside of the substrate, and then to cut in advance a scribe line around the rim of the chemical sensor before filling the sensing material into the sensor. Finally, the plurality of the chemical sensors will be divided into individual ones after the process of calcining or furnacing.

The first and second contacts are inserted into the first opening to form a first signal contact group, thereby providing a first mating interface for a daugher board. The third and fourth contacts are inserted into the second opening to form a second signal contact group, thereby providing a second mating interface for another daughter board. The ground contacts are disposed betweent the first and second signal contact groups. The connector can thereby electrically connect the daughter boards with the mother board simultaneously.

A number of locking tabs (24) extend vertically beyond a joint face (23) of the connector. Each locking tab defines an aperture (242) and a block (243) at a free end thereof. The aperture separates the free end of the locking tab into two spaced portions. The block protrudes outwardly from an outside of one of the two spaced portions. An opening (232) under the block is defined in the joint face for facilitating the molding of the block. The shell defines a number of securing holes (411) engagingly receiving the corresponding locking tabs of the connector. The block can press an outside of the shell to retain the locking tab in the hole. Reliable connection between the connector and the shell is secured.

    Abstract: A set of fasteners is adapted to fasten a motherboard on a computer housing. The motherboard has a first side, a second side, and a fastener slot that extends through the first and second sides. Each of the fasteners includes a positioning member and a spring arm. The positioning member permits movement of the motherboard from an unlocking position, where a periphery of the fastener slot is disengaged from the positioning member, and a locking position, where the periphery of the fastener slot is engaged within a groove in the positioning member. The spring arm is connected to the positioning member so as to be adapted to abut against the motherboard to urge the motherboard to engage the positioning member when the motherboard is at the locking position.

The functionality is provided via a special function direct memory address device operating in accordance with byte ordering specifications for: data stored in the shared memory block and data conveyed via the at least one data channel. The byte alignment is enabled by direct byte addressing techniques as well as the use of an orphan counter to keep track of processed bytes. An implementation of the orphan counter as a state machine reduces processing overheads.

    Abstract: A tabular heat pipe structure with support bodies has a housing, working fluid received in the housing and support bodies. The top and bottom faces of the support bodies are zigzag faces having a plurality of contact points. The support bodies use these contact points to adhere to the housing by means of welding. The tabular heat pipe structure is uniform and intact, has a high rigidity, will not cave in and deform due to back pressure in the heat pipe, and will not let the housing separate from the support bodies because of expansion at high temperatures. Therefore, the tabular heat pipe structure has the advantages like a better heat-conducting characteristic, a smaller contact heat resistance, a simple processing procedure, a quick manufacturing speed, a lower cost, and a simple and stable operation of flat adhesion.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus are provided for seamless integration of multiple video projectors. In addition to edge blending, projection artifacts in dark or black image regions caused by residual grays from non-perfect projector black levels are reduced. Overlapped and non-overlapped areas of the image are defined and then the minimum black level of the video signal in non-overlapped areas is boosted without affecting the bright portion of the video signal in order to create uniform black level. The bright portion of the image is then smoothed in the overlapped area with seamless edge blending techniques. The resultant projected image may be passed through a neutral density filter to lower the base black level of the now uniform overlap and non-overlap black regions. The image may also pass through a physical mask which is hard edged or graded and aligned to less than the overall overlap region and that when used, smooths the edge of transition between the non-overlapped and overlapped regions.
