  • Publication number: 20240422684
Abstract: A method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication network for reducing paging occasion monitoring power consumption. The method includes receiving a paging indication from a base station, transitioning to a sleep mode in response to receiving the paging indication because the wireless device is aware, prior to the wireless device decoding the paging indication, that any paging message corresponding to the paging indication is to be transmitted by the base station at least with a guaranteed minimum length of delay after the base station transmits the paging indication, determining, while in the sleep mode, whether the wireless device is to receive a paging message corresponding to the paging indication, and staying in the sleep mode or transitioning into a deeper sleep mode in response to a determination that the wireless device does not need to receive the paging message corresponding to the paging indication.

  • Publication number: 20240417945
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for forming a support wall in the ground from a soil mortar which is made in the ground by mixing soil material and a cement suspension, wherein vertically directed support beams comprising a structural steel are set into the soil mortar in the ground prior to curing, and after curing, soil material is removed along an upper support wall section on at least one side of the support wall, while a lower support wall section continues to be surrounded by soil on both sides. According to the invention, it is provided that a thin-walled sheathing element from concrete is attached to at least one support beam, which extends along an upper support beam section, and that the support beam is set into the soil mortar in such a way that the upper support beam section with the sheathing element from concrete extends along the upper support wall section.

  • Publication number: 20240420298
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of monitoring images, particularly images from cameras on offshore platforms, where only low-frequency events trigger alarms and high-frequency events are ignored. Preferably, it implements the Multi-scale Structural Quality Score where the compared image frames are spaced in time, for example, by a space of 1 minute, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes. If a quality score lower than a threshold quality score is obtained, or if the quality score obtained remains within a predetermined range for a time greater than a predetermined time limit, an alarm may be triggered. Accordingly, only events that represent a significant risk to operational and personnel safety and that persist for a certain period will trigger alarms. Consequently, spurious alarms that would be caused by low relevance events are avoided.

  • Publication number: 20240415345
Abstract: A surface cleaning head includes dual rotating agitators (e.g., a leading roller and a brush roll) and a removable cover for covering a top of the agitators and allowing access to the agitators from a top of the surface cleaning head. The dual agitators may be used to facilitate capturing of debris in the air flow into a suction conduit on the underside of the surface cleaning head. The brush roll may be located in a brush roll chamber and at least partially in an opening to the suction conduit. The leading roller may be positioned adjacent to and in advance of the suction conduit opening such that the leading roller engages debris and moves the debris toward the brush roll and the opening. The leading roller may be removable from the housing and held in place by the removable cover. The cover may be coupled using isolated latching mechanisms.

  • Publication number: 20240417727
Abstract: It is herein demonstrated that an increase in Dox-induced miRNA-106b-5p (miR-106b) is able to down-regulate PR55? subunit, which leds to a decrease both in PP2A activity as well as an accumulation of the phosphorylated HDAC4 protein in cytosol. Anti-miRNA-106b-5p (miR-106b) therapy is thus able to prevent Dox-induced PR55? degradation, facilitate the HDAC4 dephosphorylation by PP2A, and increase HDAC4-YY1 interaction, resulting in a decreased in sST2 expression and release by the LV myocardium. Further, and for first time, it has identified the role that sST2 isoform plays in Dox-induced CTX.

  • Publication number: 20240415493
Abstract: A method is provided for adapting a 3D field of view (FOV) in ultrasound data acquisition so as to minimize the FOV volume in a manner that is controlled and precise. The method comprises defining a volumetric region across which 3D ultrasound data is desired, and then adapting the data acquisition field of view (FOV) in dependence upon the defined volumetric region, to encompass the region. This is achieved based on adapting a scan line length (or scan depth) of each individual scan line based on the defined volumetric region. In some embodiments, the volumetric region may be defined based on anatomical segmentation of a reference ultrasound dataset acquired in an initial step, and setting the volumetric region in dependence upon boundaries of an identified object of interest. The volumetric region may in a subset of embodiments be set as the region occupied by a detected anatomical object of interest.
