  • Publication number: 20240424313
Abstract: Delivery system for implanting a medical device, comprising: a delivery catheter having an inner lumen, a mandrel received in the inner lumen and movable with respect to the delivery catheter, a tethering member comprising a first end, a second end and a positive-locking member fixed to the second end, and an adapter piece having a longitudinal axis and comprising a proximal end face and a lateral surface. The adapter piece forms a fixed connection between a distal end of the mandrel and the first end of the tethering member. The adapter piece is displaceable between a first position within the inner lumen and a second position outside of the inner lumen, wherein in the first position the second end of the tethering member runs along the lateral surface of the adapter piece such that the positive-locking member adjoins the proximal end face providing a locked connection with the adapter piece.

  • Publication number: 20240427891
Abstract: A cloud-based operating-system-event and data-access monitoring method includes collecting event information from a monitored cloud-based element. One or more structured event payloads based on the event information is then generated. The structured event payloads that produce one or more validated event collections are then validated. The one or more validated event collections are then serialized and filtered to remove redundant structured event payload data. The filtered validated structured event payloads are then de-serialized to produce a time-sequenced, ordered event stream. The time-sequenced, ordered event stream is de-duplicated to remove duplicate structured event payloads. The time-sequenced ordered event stream is then processed to generate processed information security results.

  • Publication number: 20240430165
Abstract: Various systems and methods for cellular network slice management are presented. An application may be determined to be authorized to manage a cellular network slice utilized by the application for communication with user equipment. A request can be received from the application to modify the cellular network slice from the application. In response to the request, a parameter of the cellular network slice may be modified. The cellular network can then use the modified slice for communication with user equipment for the cloud-based application.

  • Publication number: 20240426363
Abstract: A vibration damper valve assembly having a main valve, a main valve body, a main valve disc influencing a main volumetric flow resistance, and an additional draw-side and pressure-side valve. The draw-side additional valve has a draw-side additional valve body and a draw-side valve disc influencing an auxiliary volumetric flow resistance on the draw side, and the pressure-side additional valve has a pressure-side additional valve body and a pressure-side valve disc influencing the auxiliary volumetric flow on the pressure side. A support section axially secures the main valve and the two additional valves. The main valve body is arranged between the additional valve bodies defining a draw-side and a pressure-side working chamber. The pressure-side additional valve opens into a pressure chamber chambered off relative to the pressure-side working chamber, and the working chamber is delimited by an additional valve disc to influence the flow resistance of the auxiliary volumetric flow.

  • Publication number: 20240425811
Abstract: Described herein are cells, cell culture methods, and cell culture media compositions useful for producing and maintaining iPSC-derived cell lines that are of higher purity and maintain cell type integrity better than current iPSC-derived cell lines. Also disclosed are methods of using the described cells and media, such as therapeutic methods of use for the described cells. The described cells include iPSC-derived mesodermal precursor cells (MPC), which itself may differentiate into at least four different cell types. When cultured under appropriate conditions, the mesodermal precursor cells can be used to produce hematopoietic stem cells (HSC), mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), smooth muscle cells (SMC), or unlimited functional endothelial cells (UFEC). One characteristic that makes the described cells desirable is that they can be maintained in culture for a number of days, or passages, without changing phenotype through differentiation.

  • Publication number: 20240430639
Abstract: Described is a method of modelling a Doppler effect when rendering audio content for a 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF) environment on a user side. In particular, the method may comprise obtaining first parameter values of one or more first parameters indicative of an allowable range of pitch factor modification values. The method may further comprise obtaining a second parameter value of a second parameter indicative of a desired strength of the to-be-modelled Doppler effect. The method may yet further comprise determining a pitch factor modification value based on a relative velocity between a listener and an audio source in the audio content, and the first and second parameter values, using a predefined pitch factor modification function. Particularly, the predefined pitch factor modification function may have the first and second parameters and may be a function for mapping relative velocities to pitch factor modification values.

  • Publication number: 20240428303
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a distance travelled by a vehicle for the purpose of assessing and settling a road usage charge allows for determining a distance travelled with a vehicle. A mobile device can acquire odometer values which are subsequently reported to a system that confirms the distance drive and determines a road usage charge. Once the actual distance travelled by the vehicle is determined by the system, a road usage charge can be determined. Fuel excise taxes paid by the vehicle operator for fuel used by the vehicle and tolls can be subtracted from the road usage charge to determine a road usage settlement amount that can be paid from, or refunded to a financial account associated with the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12175976
Abstract: A speech-processing system may provide access to one or more virtual assistants via an audio-controlled device. A multi-agent component of a device may be used to coordinate control of device process(es) regardless of the invoked agent and without necessarily sharing information between agents and corresponding speech-processing system(s). Device-state information may be sent from the multi-agent component to a speech-processing system to interpret a user command. If the command relates to a device process control it may be routed to a device skill and to the multi-agent component of the device. The multi-agent component may track a device state and may inform a particular speech-processing system if a process related to the particular speech-processing system has been controlled.
