  • Patent number: 12180560
Abstract: The present invention relates to a solid-liquid-solid hydrometallurgical method in the presence of hydrated and/or non-hydrated salts in an oversaturation conditions, which is achieved by the intentional and repetitive application of drying and wetting steps, enhancing the chemical and physical phenomena on the mineral or concentrate, thus provoking the crystallization, recrystallization, and release of copper in a non-stoichiometric decomposition of the sulfide and its subsequent precipitation with chloride. The invention is made up of 3 steps called: (a) Wetting, (b) Drying and Oversaturation, (c) Washing and re-wetting, and these are conducted at temperatures ranging from 20-40° C. regardless of the redox potential with a minimum consumption of water and acid without requiring the addition of oxygen. The method allows diminishing the water and acid consumption, since the transformation of the sulfide can be carried out only in the presence of hydrated salts and/or the minimal addition of acid and water.

  • Patent number: 12179087
Abstract: A boot form for a hockey skate is made of multiple plastic materials having different hardness properties, or different flexural moduli, and is formed via an injection-molding process or another similar process. One or more of the plastic materials may be reinforced with fibers of glass, carbon, aramid, or another stiffening material to strengthen one or more regions of the boot form. For example, pellets of a first plastic material having a flexural modulus of approximately 190 MPa (e.g., a polyamide elastomer block amide) may be injected into a mold to form a softer upper region of the boot form. And pellets of a second plastic having a flexural modulus of approximately 20,000 MPa (e.g., a Nylon 12 with long glass fibers) may be injected into the mold to form a stiffer lower region of the boot form. Additional skate components may then be attached to the boot form.

  • Patent number: 12182265
Abstract: A cloud-based operating-system-event and data-access monitoring method includes collecting event information from a monitored cloud-based element. One or more structured event payloads based on the event information is then generated. The structured event payloads that produce one or more validated event collections are then validated. The one or more validated event collections are then serialized and filtered to remove redundant structured event payload data. The filtered validated structured event payloads are then de-serialized to produce a time-sequenced, ordered event stream. The time-sequenced, ordered event stream is de-duplicated to remove duplicate structured event payloads. The time-sequenced ordered event stream is then processed to generate processed information security results.

  • Publication number: 20240423555
Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel systems and methods for synchronized streaming of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals to a display. An aspect to the invention provides for synchronizing between first and second pluralities of digitized ECG signals that are sampled from a plurality of medical devices by first and second non-synchronized utilities. One of the pluralities of analog ECG signals, preferably a far-field ECG, is selected for reference and sampled by both the non-synchronized utilities thereby yielding respective first and second digitized reference ECG signals. The reference ECG signals are compared and the results of the comparison is used for synchronizing between the first and second pluralities of digitized ECG signals. Accordingly, the techniques of the invention facilitate concurrent synchronized streaming to a display, of a plurality of digitized ECG signals from a plurality of non-synchronized medical devices. Additional aspects and features of the invention are further disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20240427011
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a concept for detecting radar targets. A plurality of first receive signals is received from first antennas of an antenna array. A first combined range-Doppler map is determined by combining range-Doppler maps of each of the first antennas. First confirmable range-Doppler cells of the first combined range-Doppler map are determined which match a predetermined confirmation criterion. A plurality of second receive signals is received from second antennas of the antenna array. A second combined range-Doppler map is determined by combining range-Doppler maps of each of the second antennas. Second confirmable range-Doppler cells of the second combined range-Doppler map are determined which match the predetermined confirmation criterion. The first and second confirmable range-Doppler cells are combined to obtain a set of confirmable range-Doppler cells.
