  • Patent number: 12174800
Abstract: A model management system provides a centralized repository for storing and accessing models. The model management system receives an input to store a model object in a first model state generated based on a first set of known variables. The model management system generates a first file including a first set of functions defining the first model state and associates the first file with a model key identifying the model object. The model management system receives an input to store the model object in a second model state having been generated based on the first model state and a second set of known variables. The model management system generates a second file including a second set of functions defining the second model state and associates the second file with the model key. The model management system identifies available versions of the model object based on the model key.

  • Patent number: 12172020
Abstract: This disclosure describes, among other embodiments, systems and related methods for selecting electrode combinations to be used during nerve pacing procedures. A first set of electrode combinations of a nerve pacing system, such as a phrenic nerve pacing system for diaphragm activation, may be mapped (or tested) to determine the location of the electrode combinations relative to a target nerve. Once the general location of the target nerve is known, a more localized second set of electrode combinations may be tested to determine the most suitable electrode combinations for nerve stimulation. At various stages of the mapping process, electrode combinations that are non-optimal may be discarded as candidates for use in a nerve pacing procedure. The systems and methods described herein may allow for the selection of electrode combinations that are most suitable for stimulation of the left and right phrenic nerves during diaphragm pacing.

  • Patent number: 12172410
Abstract: Black enamel frit obscurations are commonly printed on laminated and tempered automotive safety glazing where they serve to hide the adhesive used to bind the glazing to the automotive body and to protect the adhesive from ultraviolet radiation. However, frit has a number of drawbacks. Frit weakens the surface of the glass. It can create distortion in the glass due to thermal gradients. Printed frit obscurations are incompatible and cannot be used with many types of coatings. Standard frit blocks ion exchange and cannot be used with the chemical tempering process. In addition, while many types of frits are available for printing on soda-lime glass, there are very few, if any, for non-soda lime glass. As the market moves towards thinner and lighter glazing, non-soda lime glass types are finding increasing application in automotive glazing. These limitations are overcome by replacing the printed black obscuration with an obscuration formed from a thin sheet of plastic, which is integrated into the laminate.

  • Patent number: 12177642
Abstract: A speaker-element for a speaker includes two substantially mutually opposing spaced apart membrane planes, where each membrane plane comprises at least one electromagnetic wire arranged for creating a magnetic field upon an electric current passing through the electromagnetic wire. A permanent magnet is arranged between the two membrane planes, the electromagnet wires of the two membrane planes are connectable to an electric power source so that the electric current passes therethrough in substantially mutually opposing directions to create substantially mutually opposing magnetic fields, such that upon passing an electric current through the electromagnetic wire of each membrane plane said membrane planes are both either attracted towards or repulsed from the permanent magnet and thereby moved towards or away from each other, respectively, thereby producing a sound wave.

  • Patent number: 12175746
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling an Internet of Things (IoT) device through interaction with an augmented reality (AR) object includes pairing an AR object with an IoT device, presenting the AR object on a display of an AR camera device of a user, receiving an interaction signal indicating that the user has interacted with the AR object on the display of the AR camera device, and sending a control signal to the IoT device paired with the AR object in response to the interaction signal. A second user may request presentation of the AR object to the AR display of the AR camera device of the user when the user's AR camera device is located at particular world coordinates. Also, the control signal may be sent when a particular series of interactions with the AR object have been completed, as during game play.

  • Patent number: 12175608
Abstract: Multi-player co-located AR experiences are augmented by assigning characters and costumes to respective participants (a.k.a. “users” of AR-enabled mobile devices) in multi-player AR sessions for storytelling, play acting, and the like. Body tracking technology and augmented reality (AR) software are used to decorate the bodies of the co-located participants with virtual costumes within the context of the multi-player co-located AR experiences. Tracked bodies are distinguished to determine which body belongs to which user and hence which virtual costume belongs to which tracked body so that corresponding costumes may be assigned for display in augmented reality. A host-guest mechanism is used for networked assignment of characters and corresponding costumes in the co-located multi-player AR session. Body tracking technology is used to move the costume with the body as movement of the assigned body is detected.
