  • Publication number: 20240019123
Abstract: A hydrogen injection scheme can be employed via use of one or more injectors for injecting hydrogen to help entrain local mass while also generating local turbulence that can enhance mixing with a mixture of air and fuel to facilitate enhanced lean combustion, lower peak flame temperatures of combustion, and reduce nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions from the combustion of fuel. In some embodiments, the hydrogen can be injected to help transport heat released during combustion away from the injector to help avoid injector overheating as well. Different injectors can be utilized to provide a desired hydrogen injection scheme for a particular set of design and operational criteria for a gas turbine system or at least one combustion system that can be utilized in a gas turbine system.

  • Patent number: 11868455
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to biometric authentication, e.g., facial recognition. In some embodiments, a device is configured to verify that image data from a camera unit exhibits a pseudo-random sequence of image capture modes and/or a probing pattern of illumination points (e.g., from lasers in a depth capture mode) before authenticating a user based on recognizing a face in the image data. In some embodiments, a secure circuit may control verification of the sequence and/or the probing pattern. In some embodiments, the secure circuit may verify frame numbers, signatures, and/or nonce values for captured image information. In some embodiments, a device may implement one or more lockout procedures in response to biometric authentication failures. • Patent number: 11860675
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media for latent summarization of a graph. Structural features can be captured from feature vectors associated with each node of the graph by applying base functions on the feature vectors and iteratively applying relational operators to successive feature matrices to derive deeper inductive relational functions that capture higher-order structural information in different subgraphs of increasing size (node separations). Heterogeneity can be summarized by performing capturing features in appropriate subgraphs (e.g., node-centric neighborhoods associated with each node type, edge direction, and/or edge type). Binning and/or dimensionality reduction can be applied to the resulting feature matrices.

  • Patent number: 11860836
Abstract: An object management system (OMS) receives a plurality of objects to be stored. The OMS identifies a subset of objects associated with a same time period and a same namespace from the plurality of objects and generates a batch object comprising the subset of objects. The OMS issues a write request to store the batch object in an object storage system (OSS) and stores, for each object in the subset of objects, a data structure comprising an identifier of the batch object and a position of the object within the batch object. Upon receiving a read request for an object, the OMS determines, based on the data structure, whether the object is stored in the OSS and issues a read request to the OSS based on the identifier of the batch object and the position of the object within the batch, if the objects is stored in the OSS.

  • Publication number: 20230421969
Abstract: Provided is a MEMS condenser microphone, including a base plate, a spacer and a membrane. The membrane is supported above the base plate by the spacer. The base plate, the spacer, and the membrane enclose a vacuum cavity. An end of the membrane close to the vacuum cavity is connected, by means of a connecting rod, to an electrostatic clutch. The electrostatic clutch is connected to a capacitive sensing structure. The microphone has the advantage of allowing microphone performance over a wide range of atmospheric pressures which is likely expected by customers. This is achieved electrostatically in a purely passive way which has an advantage over other designs which require complex electronics and active control. Physically decoupling the membrane and sense structure simplifies the design of the sense structure as only small AC perturbations of the rotor need to be considered with no DC changes in rotor position.

  • Publication number: 20230421484
Abstract: In some implementations, a first processing component of a network device may receive first traffic data obtained by a second processing component of the network device. The first processing component may store the first traffic data as residual statistics. The first processing component may obtain second traffic data associated with a copy of a traffic stream processed by the first processing component based on storing the first traffic data as the residual statistics. The first processing component may perform a switchover from the second processing component to the first processing component. The first processing component may determine current traffic data based on the residual statistics and the second traffic data. The current traffic data may be determined based on performing the switchover from the second processing component to the first processing component.

  • Publication number: 20230421553
Abstract: A method and system for processing a transaction based on biometric data and access data is disclosed. Different accounts and providers may be used to process transactions, using different message formats, based on user-configured mappings. In one example, the method includes receiving, by a message processing system, an authorization request message from an access device, the authorization request message comprising a biometric template and access data. An interaction entity record identifier, associated with an interaction entity from among a plurality of different interaction entities that process messages in different message formats, may be retrieved. The authorization request message may be converted from a first format to a second format, the second format being compatible with message processing by the interaction entity. The converted authorization request message may be transmitted to the interaction entity for determining whether to authorize the transaction.

  • Publication number: 20230417627
Abstract: A system can perform a method to identify when one or more lenses are the wrong prescription for the user. In some embodiments, the system notifies the user to switch prescription lenses or initiates an enrollment process for the lenses. In some embodiments, the system can identify the prescription of a lens and compare the identified prescription to one or more enrolled prescriptions for the user (e.g., previously defined in user settings associated with user profile). When the identified prescription of the lens does not match an expected enrolled prescription for the user), the system can notify the user to switch prescription lenses. When there are no enrolled prescriptions for the user, the device can prompt the user to enroll the lens.

  • Publication number: 20230421968
Abstract: Provided is an electrostatic clutch. The electrostatic clutch includes: multiple arrays of HIN electrodes, a respective pass-through channel being formed between any two arrays of the multiple arrays of HIN electrodes; and multiple arrays of biased electrodes, each array of the multiple arrays of biased electrodes moving back and forth in the respective pass-through channel such that electrostatic force is generated between the multiple arrays of biased electrodes and the multiple arrays of HIN electrodes. Such configuration allows microphone performance over a wide range of atmospheric pressures which is likely expected by applications. This is achieved electrostatically in a purely passive way having advantages over other designs which require complex electronics and active control. Physically decoupling the membrane and sense structure simplifies design of the sense structure as only small AC perturbations of the rotor is considered with no DC changes in rotor position.
