  • Patent number: 11809535
Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-modal user device authentication are disclosed. An example electronic device includes a first sensor, a microphone, a first camera, and a confidence analyzer to authenticate a subject as the authorized user in response to a user presence detection analyzer detecting a presence of the subject and one or more of (a) an audio data analyzer detecting a voice of an authorized user or (b) an image data analyzer detecting a feature of the authorized user. The example electronic device includes a processor to cause the electronic device to move from a first power state to a second power state in response to the confidence analyzer authenticating the user as the authorized user. The electronic device is to consume a greater amount of power in the second power state than the first power state.

  • Publication number: 20230333775
Abstract: Aspects of a storage device are provided that handle pairing and atomic processing of fused commands received from submission queues based on data structures such as a linked lists which the controller respectively associates with each submission queue. A memory of the storage device includes a plurality of data structures each associated with a different submission queue. A controller of the storage device receives a first command for a fused operation from a submission queue, stores the first command in a data structure, receives a second command for the fused operation from the submission queue, determines whether the second command corresponds to the fused operation, stores the second command in the data structure in response to the determination, and performs the fused operation in response to storing the second command. As a result, fused command handling may be achieved with minimal impact to queue arbitration logic and command latency.

  • Patent number: 11748524
Abstract: An obfuscation circuit relies on a tamper-resistant nonvolatile memory which encodes a trusted Boolean function. The Boolean function is used to enable several operations relating to circuit obfuscation, including obfuscation of logic circuitry, obfuscation of operand data, and release of IP blocks. The tamper-resistant nonvolatile memory is part of a trusted integrated circuit structure, i.e., one fabricated by a trusted foundry, separate from another integrated circuit structure which contains the various operational logic circuits of the design and is fabricated by an untrusted foundry. The Boolean function is encoded based on a look-up table implemented as a cascaded multiplexer circuit. Multiple obfuscation functions can be so encoded. The obfuscation functions may be reprogrammed using a protocol that relies on symmetric keys, one of which is stored in the tamper-resistant nonvolatile memory.

The PHY includes a transmitter and a receiver to be coupled to each lane of the number of lanes. The transmitter coupled to each lane is configured to embed a clock with data to be transmitted over the lane, and the PHY periodically issues a blocking link state (BLS) request to cause an agent to enter a BLS to hold off link layer flit transmission for a duration. The PHY utilizes the serial, differential link during the duration for a PHY associated task selected from a group including an in-band reset, an entry into low power state, and an entry into partial width state.
